If i have IIS working and i turn off my computer can people still see the IIS server? or will it shut down with my comp?

No, IIS is a so called Daemonic Super Program, that keeps on working even if you take the power out of your computer. The only way to shut it down is to encase your computer in lead and sink it to the bottom of the ocean.

you would still have to get a preist to turn the entire body of water to holy water, and then swim down and cover the box in garlic, holy garlic to be more specific

True, but whether to use garlic or crucifixes wholly depends on the version of IIS that you have.

If your local church supports exorcism, please consult them.

Yea, version 6 stays on, even if you shut down your computer. I believe version 6 dosen't need a flow of electrons to keep the hardware operating for it to function properly.

It runs on love.

lurks... why do u have IIS if ur asking this question?

u forgot xerent that its also very jealous, so if u have a GF its likely to not like her, and it'll overheat ur computer and burn down ur house... but it will still be on!

okay and for future reference, if u have a computer program that is running from ur computer, then when ur comp goes down, it goes down, end of discussion

i use(d) angelfire to host my stories... now i just use elfwood... but for the most part i found angelfire to be quite nice, i have 20 meg of space and can use either a help page creation system or my own handwritten HTML... i usually choose the latter because the former restricts u to much
