I have only been playing this game for a short while and have an idea for a strange unit. Its a random thought and would like feedback:
name:Tower
hp:150
armor:25
attack:0
Range:0
blocking:0% (0%)
No movement/attack=No recovery
Ability:Whenever a unit is put on top of the tower its LOS is increased throughout the whole map. This LOS would only work on ranged attackers (IE: Scouts, Dragons, Pyros...etc) and would also give a small +% to their damage. If a unit dies while on the tower it will die instantly from the "fall". The actual tower has no attack or movement.

Though I must admit, it is an interesting idea, it will get way to out of hand way to quickly. All someone would have to do is put a dragon in the tower and the dragon would never die, because 150 HP is a lot.
Or, just put a scout in the tower, and he can snipe at units (importantly, the cleric)

Yeah if you put the tower right in the corner of the map at the back and still had LOS over the whole map isn't the best idea... I think you should dumb it down a bit, like have units range increase by one or two and units in the tower cannot attack the units at it's base. the tower should not increase the units power because if you put say a dragon in there it would be the only unit you would need to win. It would be something like a lightning ward but would have a greater range (depending who you put in there, less power and a much higher HP. Talking about HP what happened if there is someone in the tower and that was the only unit left. Would you have to destroy the tower to win?
Attack pattern suggestion for scout in tower.

(EDIT - sorry that isn't plusing any range at all... my mistake... but you can imagine :p)
This way if you put in the front row middle of the board you'll be able to reach the edge of the board and if any unit want to attack it then the tower can't defend itself.
Also you ahve to lower the HP... 150 with an armour of 25 is WAAAAAAY to big. I suggest maybe at most a 60 hp with 20 armour.
What happens to a units turn recorvery when they are in the tower?

oik idea but killin the tower has to be a option makie ikt 65 lives and the unit insikde is not protected

perhpas the unit inside/on top of the tower could only be attacked only by ranged units, while the tower would be a contraption, with 100% blocking (still able to be hit by magic). perhpas the tower focuses when it holds someone, making it suspetable to any attack. just an idea
