Admins should keep us updated

I suggest that we have some form of communication with the admins/seed with the sole purpose of telling us what they are currently working on. It could be a simple as posting it in the announcements forums or updating the news on the website or even just word of mouth.

It was great when they were working to get the Gold server up and running and we all knew they were working on it. Right now, we have no idea what they've got planned, what they're spending their precious time on, and most importantly, we don't know what to get excited about next.

I've seen a few threads in this forum posted that were simply asking if a certain suggestion was actually being workedon or considered. It'd be nice to know, that's all.

I concur. Even on the 'other' site, there is nothing, and their forums suck, Seed doesn't even post there telling them what is up.

I said this in another thread, but it has bearing here as well. I think that TAO should decide if it is a serious business or not. Having someone work part time on the game, when they have time, and if they feel like it, when school worl, and other projects don;t interfere is not a way to run a business. There has to be a decision by TAO to either admit this is a short time fun thing to do and will be supported sparsely, or if it is going to be a real online game, and get permission to begin building the game up. The coding so far is ok, but the game itself will become stale without constant upkeep.
I think getting a person to work on the game fulltime would make it advance faster, and make it grow into a much better game.

word from seeds on forum he said he almost stopped working on this game because of problems with the server he spent alot of cash on updating the servers to top notch... Only real reason he is still going is because of our three servers that make us pay monthing instead of paying once and your done... So all who are golds be proud because you are the only real reason Seed hasnt stopped completely on this game.

It is sad to see that the server update took all that money and time. I believe it was the reason set backs have been made on things like units,Silver modes and such, and flat out responses from the leaders themselves....

Well I think that seed has very little time for this game since he is working on his new game, but I don't know.
