I am getting sick of all the whiny polls about who thinks TAO should do ____, if they don't I'll do ____.

This is a company. Do you make the same demands of your grocery store? Do you threaten to boycott Wal Mart if they don't start selling new cars? Do you post messages outside your local K-Mart saying how much better Wal Mart is? Do you stand outside of 7-11 and have people sign petitions that they should lower their prices?

If the people running this COMPANY that brings TAO to you, and lets you play for free thought changes were needed they would make them. Silver accounts, non-resetting grey accounts, better unit drops for greys, free gold accounts, forget it. I don't walk into any business and demand free services.

So anyways, since this is in suggestions, let me make a suggestion. I suggest that there be a filter added to this forum that automatically deletes all the whiny cry baby posts from 12 year old kids trying to manipulate TAO the way they do their parents. If you fall into the category above just know this, if I was your parents your bedtime would be 9:30 and you'd have a 1 hour limit on the internet.

There is a reason polls are there. And YES TAO should take suggestions. It's still in constant development. Look at where you posted! "TAOForums>Development>Suggestions" How ironic ... or idiotic ... I can't decide. :p

Actually, I do boycott Wal Mart.

Also, the company should listen to its costomers and take into consideration what they say.
Yes, free gold accounts is BS, but, for example, silver accounts are reasonable, since they have the normal greys who would not go gold (and therefor not help the company) pay a smaller amount of money (that they can afford) for something they want.

Company gains money, costomers are happy and spread the word of the game, company makes more money.

This is what it's like for a lot of suggestions, although the ones that you posted (other than silver accounts) really aren't going to happen.

Lastly, this "filter" is already here, we call them moderators.

EDIT: I agree that threats are just wrong. Suggest, dont threaten. Again, this is what Mods are for.

looks like one of you clicked the I am one of the brats in question button but not the other.

You missed my point, I wasn't trying to debate your little ideas. I wasn't saying suggestions were bad. I was taking a shot at the way it's always the same issues over and over, except recently we've started seeing polls instead. This reminds me of asking all your friends if they think your mom is unfair for not letting you go to the party this weekend. Now go get your pajamas on before I swat you both.

1) I haven't voted yet :P

2) Yes it is always the same issues, but some people neglect to read stickies. Can't ban people for ignorance, just get mad at them. (Well, I guess you can ban them, but thats bad for business)

3) This is a biased poll, the choices you give basically say, "Agree with me or mark yourself as a bratty 12 year old."
If you wan't an honest responce, a yes or no poll will do.

4) In responce to the filter, (other than that this is what Mods are for) it would be near impossible to code into a forum, no words can identify a poll "whiny" or "non-whiney", and checking the age of the person posting and automatically deleting it if it's a poll is discrimination. Discrimination = Baaad:mad: :p

5) Try responding to what I say instead of telling me I missed the point. 50% of your post was about how TAO was a company, so I responded to that.

Basically your post boils down to an anti-spam poll with an impractical way to get rid of it.
Now, instead of accusing me of being a "whiny 12 year old" why dont you ask to be made a Mod so you can actually do something about dumb spammers who don't read stickies.

Can noone understand a sarcastic flame when they read one? Look, my point was suggestions are fine, but the same whiny crybaby 12 year old try to manipulate TAO like their mommies posts are old.

One day I will become rich and famous when I invent a device that allows you to reach through cyberspace and stab someone in the face.
