Attack Dog / Wolf: (Bah, Can't think of a good name for this idea)
Hit Points : 28
Movement Range : 8
Power : 18
Recovery Time : 1
Attack Pattern :
Bites a character next to them
[O][X][O] O - Misc Square
[O][D][O] D - Dog/Wolf
[O][O][O] X - Square Attacked
Same pattern as a knight
Special Abilities :
+ 80% Blocking from the front ( 40% from the sides )
Attack is blockable
A wolf has no ac but can run far in a short time. Their attack is not very powerfull but with the low recovery time they can usually get in and out to finish off a character that is almost dead.
Not a great idea but something to think about.

If you played any good players this unit would be useless.... It is so easily killed. You are trying toget away with haveing a huge range with a very flimsy unit. They already made the assassin for these sort of attacks this unit is going too far.
I think when making characters you have to give them some sort of substance. Give the character a background if you are making it up... For a character like... dragon obviously everyone knows background on it so just spend like 5 minutes writing a story on it... It makes the unit more then just a pile of stats and abilities. It's easier to read and understand.
Also give some reasoning for why you made the unit. It just helps everyone understand your unit.
Thats my advice you don't have to take it just trying to help your units.

One example of possible use:
ie. Cleric is being attack by a pyro or assasin. You use your knight, pryo or witch or whatever to asult the attacker. There 1 wait passes and they are ready to attack your cleric again after the next move. Run in the attack dog to destroy the threat.
There are actually many ways this would be usefull. I didn't intend on recommending an overpowered character. However, I think the wolfs movement could either be increased to 10 and/or change the recovery time to 0. I would also add blocking but was not sure how to display that in my original post. I was thinking more of dodging but was not sure how that would be appled to the game if not like a block. If it were to be classified as a block I would say a 80% chance from front and 40 % chance to block from the sides but with the blocking added the movement should probably stat at 8 to be fair. If those changes were made then this character would be a great asset (depending on how you use it).
example with changes above:
Witch or pyro in enemy lines and you want it dead. Run in 10 spaces and attack. You then get attacked by a knight or something and possibly reduced your dog's Hp to 6 Hp. You attack again and run out, killing the caster. (Based on where the wolf is you could use a barrior to protect it until there is a better time to move it out or if you want to kamakazi hit another charater as part of your attack plan.
As for a storyline:
Animals have been used in many countries for policing and protecting the citizens and families. This guard dog / attack dog is your best friend and will run to it's death to protect you or obey your commands. If you tell it to kill it will attack faster then any humoid could ever attack and if you are attacked it can come to your aid faster then any humoid as well. Since animals do not typically wear armor the dog does have a good chance of being hit hard. Due to the aminals agility it could potentially dodge an attack to not be harmed. Overall, dog's will prove to be your best friend in life and in battle.
LOL, sorry seems alittle spammy fer me but you wanted my reasoning so here you go. If you have any suggestions or ideas please post. I'd love to get feedback on the idea her and my others.
(BTW - I realize some ideas I've had are just crazy but hay... they are ideas and nothing more.)
Peace ;)

I could use a scout to kill a cleric, pyro, or a dark witch.

you can edit a old post by clicking "edit post" at the bottom of it. And add the blocking not the movement, 10 squares is insane.

Ok edited the top to have the higher blocking and remains at 8 squares to move.
