I just got done playing through Ninja Gaiden and i must say it ownz! The fmv's, action, story, weapons....all of it was just so sweet :D
Pros:
1. The graphics are astounding. From the flawless scenery and the awesome fps...you'll never find yourself waiting for that usual slowdown you get from too many objects/enemies on screen. The FMV's are some of the smoothest and best lookin animations i've seen in a long time.
2. Sounds in this game are insane, everything is on que and flows without a hitch. No lingering sounds or glitches. Saweet!
3. Weapons.....holy fockin crap. Amongst the great weaponry in this game, you'll find yourself lost in their awesome movements.
Like the Vigoran Flail....basically a pair of gold nunchaku with blades on the end. Tapping the attack button lets you start a neverending string of combos eventually leading to you slicing the heads off your enemies  And for those star wars fans, you get a Light Saber (sorta).
4. The story is long and it's mostly a mystery up until the very end (major twist at the end). You're left with minor clues as to what's going on.
5. Enemies are insanely ferocious. From soldiers getting angry that you're blocking so much, they get behind you and slice your neck.....to giant zombies walking around with 10ft axes just waiting to pummel you.
6. Freedom of movement in this game is insane. You can go to the near end of the game, and still go way back to the beginning.
7. Moves......I loved the movement in this game. From the Prince Of Persia style running on walls move, to the "Ninpo" attacks you have that range from: A circle of fireballs protecting you from any enemies that try and get too close, to surrounding yourself in lightning eventually jumping in the air and killing any and everything nearby with massive lightning bolts :)
8. You can collect and play the original Ninja Gaiden games
9. You can play ppl from around the world online ala the Master Ninja Tournament. I haven't gotten a chance to play this seeing as how my connection (one way cable) makes not only myself, but other players lagg as well :(
Cons:
1. The Difficulty in this game was ridiculous. Even on the normal setting in this game, you'll find yourself dying at least 30 times. You have to master the game right away or find yourself caught up in a horde of enemies with no chance of winning.
IE: You walk across this bridge right outside your village....half way across the seemingly empty bridge, you're encountered with a demonic looking horseman wielding a very long gold tipped spear and 4 teleporting, fireball throwing ninjas. Trying to attack the horseman is pretty pointless from the front...the horse will just kick you in the face and mr horseman will stab you and just drag you around and tossing you about 15 ft, taking major damage...then while trying to get up, you have the teleporting ninjas ganging up on you using Sai's while 2 sit in the back shooting fireballs. Insanity. And if you think that's pretty harsh, later in the game you encounter 4-5 imps with blades for arms and never back down, once you kill them, 4-5 more appear. Kill them,, 4-5 more appear and THEN you get to move on. Cripes.
2. The camera in this game can seem at times like it just smoked a little crack and got beat with a club 40-50 times. Giving you crap angles and making you fall down after working 10 mins to get up to some platforms. BASTARD CAM!
Overall, this game just owned. Besides the 2 flaws mentioned above....this game is definitely worth buying and playing through.
9.9 out of 10 from me :D
