Did he drive off intending to kill himself?
If the above is yes, did he succeed?
If the above is no, did he die because of him driving off of the cliff?

Was there some form of emergency happening?

Did a disaster happen?

Does the location of the car and the cliff (and where he landed) matter?

this is open to interpretation. both yes and no would be a right answer to this - either from one view or another

Yes, it is. I'll restate it, more clear.

You said when he got in his car, he wasn't planning on driving off the cliff. So if he wasn't planning on driving off the cliff, did his original destination have anything to do with the riddle?

irrelevant means it is not important to the riddle, meaning he answered ur question already (however he apparently answered it wrong, this is an edit after seeing his next post)

he made a murder.
he works at the radio station.
he didnt plan to kill himself, only when he switched on the radio. (i suppose because somethings went wrong in the radio station and that makes wrong his alibi).

Ok, I got this one from some book...
An Old lady lives alone, in a huge house by the ocean. She almost never left, but one day, she had to go grocery shoping, so she turned off the lights, locked all the doors, and leapt into here corpral jet (just addin a little spice here), and zoomed down to the supermarket at 500 mph. While she was gone, a huge boat crashed into the shore, thus killing 300 people. When she returned with her sushi, calimari, and pet penguin, the police were there to arrest her. Why?

LondonJack
04-22-2004, 08:45 AM
I'm going to guess she lives in Lighthouse or was busted because of the laws against domesticated penguins.

Oh, and I've got a question to...I forgot:

Was the radio sending out subliminal messages?

Serge
04-22-2004, 03:11 PM
Did he work at the radio station?

Did the station start looping a song/recording?

Did he murder the relative?

Was his job at the radio station his alibi for the murder?

Possible solution-He got in his car to go to the radio station, when he turned on his radio(to his station)a song was looping, he realized his alibi was now crap, in lieu of his immenent arrest and facing the death penalty, he drives off the cliff.

the man was a radio DJ. he went home from work to kill his wife, and he left a cd playing; that way he can claim work as his alibi. but when he got into his car after killing her and turned the radio to his station, he heard the cd skipping. he knew he would now be arrested for the murder of his wife. so he drove off a cliff
