Ouch!

I just got 5 teeth pulled! It hurts! The right side of my mouth is numb, and I'm high on laughing gas. I'm chewing on two cotton balls because I'm bleeding so much, and I just took some Ibuprofin. All of you people have probably had teeth pulled, share some of your experiances.

I've never had the pleasure of getting my teeth pulled. My wisdom teeth are also fully developed, without a hint of pain. I consider myself lucky. ^^

My teeth are screwed up, so I have to get braces. There was so much crowding, they had to pull 4 adult teeth, and one baby tooth that couldn't come out because of all the crowding.

The day after I had four teeth pulled (for braces as well), I went motorcycle riding. Somehow I managed to wreck my bike in such a way that I got a mouthfull of dirt. I was then in a quandary because I wasn't supposed to rinse my mouth as they were healing and I didn't want to wash the clotted blood plugs out (ewww!). I eventually went to a friend's dad who was an orthodontist and he suggested that I _very_ gently wash my mouth out with saltwater. It seemed to work and I lived to tell the tale.

I've had... 4 teeth pulled out, also for damn braces. Two were baby teeth and two were adult teeth or whatever they're called. I was put to sleep... :) Not killed, they gave me sleeping gass so I was sleeping while they took out the teeth, no pain. I woke up in a completely different room, some kind of waiting room, and that was a bit weird. But yeah, I had cotton shoved every in my mouth, I couldn't talk! I was bleeding so much since adult teeth aren't really supposed to come out... Anyway, that was 3 years ago.

i never needed braces, nice streight teeth, (thank you parents). hell, i dont even NEED to have my wisdom teeth pulled, and im not planning on getting them pulled any time soon. they want liek four hundred bucks just to rip that enamel out of my mouth... i do look forward to the nice drugs, but im NOT looking forward to spitting out blood for a week.
