View Full Version : Trying out new formations

I'm planning on upgrading to gold soon, and I was wondering if these formations would work well or not. I know it may be stupid to show people my formation, but oh well.

Also, since I'm not a gold member yet, I had to copy & paste all the images, so they're different colors (Thanks QuicksandSlowly, one of ur posts gave me like all the images), but you can get the general picture:

Turtle Formation (http://img9.imageshack.us/my.php?loc=img9&image=turtle.jpg)

Aggressive (http://img7.imageshack.us/my.php?loc=img7&image=aggro3.jpg)

How do they look? What could I do to make them better?

4 the agresive set-up u need 2 put the dragon at the back cuse

the dsm will lower the attack by allot so u have 2 protect the

dragon

No. The dragon still has 16 power, and that's unblockable as well so can finish off a weak unit with ease. Also, you will find the opponent targets the DSM a lot (especially if they are clustered) and when the DSM goes down, you want your dragon to be in the frontline where it can do some damage immediately. I would suggest however that you take out the LW and add a knight; if you're playing aggresively you need something that can actually move. At the moment, you will find that 90% of the time your LW won't even get one useful shot in.

If you are going aggressive a muddy is always a good idea.

If you aren't playing someone completely new then your LW is near utterly useless except as a rallying point, or a hide near/behind spot in the end game Bottle.

That's why I suggested he took it out Omega. And a form like that doesn't have time to rally, because it has no cleric ^_^

Your turtle isn't protected from witch burn on the cleric... Fix it...

Yeah, just put the knight on the other side of the LW or something. Quite a few people now put witches opposite a corner now, because clerics are usually found there:D

u should replace that knight with a furgon cuz a knight is to slow thats y i dont like it and the furgon could protect u against pyro and witchburn long enough for u to kill them

Alright, changing the setups...

Aggro doesn't seem to need much change, here we go:

New Aggro (http://img10.imageshack.us/my.php?loc=img10&image=aggro.jpg)

Turtle's problems were relatively simple too, but still:

Also, and I know that any anti-mage bomb person is going to hate this, but a friend of mine has accumulated 7 Dark Mage Witches, and I was wondering what the best formation for such a setting could be. How about this?:
7 witch formation (http://img10.imageshack.us/my.php?loc=img10&image=7WitchFormation.jpg)

Thanks.
