First, use barrier wards. If you can get a barrier'd enchantress, it's great. Go for some fighting units, b/c u can't rely on the enchantresses totally. Try to kill/lockdown the scout early, because it's the biggest threat to you. If you can get a paralyze that can't be stopped immediately, then a barrier, you're good.
If you're a gold member, use stome golem, and frost golem helps too.
Just make sure that you don't just recklessly use them, and make sure they're protected.

i like to use the enchantress as a sort of last defense. If i'm in a close match I hav an enchantress in reserve, then when my opponent comes at me to attack, I move her up to paralyze. It helps to keep ur own units more tightly packed so that u not only force ur opponent to attack a certain area, but so that u can avoid paralyzing ur own units better.

I agree. When I was playing with an enchantress, I kept her close to my cleric(s). My opponent usually only has knights as their last unit when facing me, and enchantress owns knights easily.

When i play with my grey account i have my enchantress close to my front lines so Knights and some other units dont get up close.

Does keeping the Chanty close to the front lines work as a deterrent? Exactly the opposite seems to be the case in my bouts. Then again, early Knight rushes don't really happen as the Knights and the LW stop them.

that's what i was thinking man. A scout hit followed by a measly pyro hit would kill her. Everyone has their own strategy, but I've always preferred having the enchantress as a secondary/support unit. I usually start her on the back or second from back row

i keep my enchantress in the second to back linbe close enough to protet the cleric but far enough not to get any of my own units

A thing that keeps one or 2 chantys in my game, is I know if I even get them down to one unit, im most likely gonna win, its this comforting feeling that keeps me going.

I find that putting the enchantress in the back, then moving her up when you have some spare time, works well.
Then you can use her as a frost golem of sorts, only able to get close to the opposing LW

I think it's safe to say chanty's rock wherever you start them. You can stick her up your butt and she'd still kick a$$

Except for the whole first turn LW, then anything kicks her ass period.
