Name: Elephant
HP: 58
Power: N/A
Armor: 5%
Movement Range: 2
Recovery Time: 1 for Movement Plus the Attack Recovery of the unit it is carrying when the carried unit attacks
Blocking: 30% Front, 15% Side
Special Ability: Carry
By simply moving the unit onto the Elephant the unit can be carried on-top of the Elephant increasing it's range by 2 if it is a magician or Scout. If a unit on-top of the Elephant is barriered the Elephant can still move. When attacking a Elephant that is carrying a unit click and hold the Elephant to attack the unit the Elephant is carrying. To get a unit off the Elephant click and hold on the Elephant well on the movement order to bring up the unit on-top of the Elephant's movement range.

Little confused here, you are saying that a dragon on an elephant would have a range of 5? and a witch of 6? and a scout of 8? Seems slightly unbalanced there. However, a 'horse' (or in this case elephant) has been suggested before, but this one actually has potential. I applaude that.

What I meant was that Scouts, DMWs, Pyros, and Enchanties get plus two range atop ze Elephant. Guess I should have been more specific.

But then it would only be able to move two instead of 3. You would be amazed how much a single square can effect your plans. But yes, this would greatly increase the magicians ability.

so would splash attacks, such as witch burn and pyro burn affect both the elephant and the rider? (LW strike probably should, too)
when you want to move the elephant along with the rider, what is the procedure? when you select and move the elephant, can the elephant's rider attack on the same turn? when the rider attacks on the elephant's move, do they both have recovery time? if so, what is the system for it?

Yes, magic splash attacks and LW would affect both the rider and the elephant. Yes, you can move the Elephant and attack same turn. I.E Elephant moves, 1 Recovery, Scout ontop attacks, since this counts as a move and attack he gets 2 recovery, add them together for 3 recovery. When a unit is ontop of the Elephant, they both become one unit basically.

does a unit have to recover from the move used to mount the elephant before the elephant can move?
scout mounts, move takes 1 recovery - can elephant move next turn?
*edit: another situation. a scout mounts. normally a scout has 2 recovery; +1 recovery when mounted. does the mounted scout have an attack recovery of 2?
**edit: how can a mud golem use it's normal attack on the mounted unit?

If the Elephant doesn't move then there is no recovery additions. Yes, when a unit moves onto the Elephant, you have to wait. Yes, melee units can mount the Elephant, but I don't know why you would want to....

This is a confusing unit...
Also, why did you make an "Elephant" unit when there's already a "War Elephant" unit? Please search for other related threads before making an almost identical copy of a name.
