I would like to thank Megabyte for his involvement with DragonFire since shortly after I was appointed new Clan Leader some months ago. His continued efforts to represent Clan DragonFire to the best of his ability in game, in lobby and in the forums have been well noticed and his reputation is immpecable.
Due to a number of factors taking my time away from TAO (work and 17mo. old daughter being the most important), I will be stepping down from the 'official leader' role of Dragonfire and will remain as a member and consultant to the Clan.
DragonFire is a "Council" run clan, and new members have been appointed to fill some gaps that have formed over the last month.
As one of the longest standing Clans on Armageddon (and in TAO), I am proud to announce a smooth and painless transition.
Megabyte is now officially Clan Leader of DragonFire.
Please welcome him to the role and offer your support when you see him in lobby. With his guidance and the Council's efforts, DragonFire will continue to lead for some time to come.
Mega and I will be continuing to institute additional changes over the next couple weeks. Welcome to the 7+ members we have added over the last couple days. the first of many.
Thanks,
Shaman

DragonFire only faded for about 2 weeks before I started to rebuild it. There are pics on the website from win/loss matches.

yes it died but then no 1 joined it fer a long time. Most of the ppl in draonfire went to outkast or phoenix reborne. but i think ther is only like 5 ppl still playin from da original dragon fire. (pancho, snarr,me,sir vival, and xaos) but vival is never on ne more but is active when possible. but ne ways dragonfire was a kick ass clan bakk in da day it was better than outkast but alot of current outkast wer in dragonfire. well shaman i remember u when u took over the clan (no offense but) u wer not that good. but look at u know lol :)

I always find it interesting how people can take a nice post (in this case Megabyte getting promoted) and turn it into their own little 'ego-fest' or 'put down' thread.
I am not going to bother responding any further about DF immediately after the AFI related destruction (other than the one statement below), or my supposed lack of skill. But thanks for sharing.
As for where people went. Yea, it was too bad they all abandoned a clan because of one player, but that was their choice. I didn't choose to become leader, but I did not abandon it either. To be honest, when I joined the clan was a huge mass of over competative ego's. The current clan is a lot more friendly and a lot more fun, and the players are not that shabby either. We have a few players that can hold their own. :D
Hope you stop by the website. There is some fun reading and a link to our forums. Enjoy.

heh, maybe Shaman is kind and mature enough to let such statments slide...fortunately I'm not :D pls avoid degrading or egotistical statements about Df or its current (full) members unless your prepared to back them up.

BWAAAHAAAHAAA
best in rebuilding it?
We have been 20+ members strong for months.
We just play the game and dont posture that much.
You have not noticed the 8+ DF in the Top100 every month? Only Outkast and Dawg Pound sometimes have more (other than that point farming Clan).
Megabyte taking over was just a formal transition of leadership, in a smooth process that has been in the works for a while.
