hey all i use a turtle formation (i would give screen shotbut servers down now) but i was wandering sum good tips with the assasin (other then try to hit mutiple people) i have barly ever used her.

The assassin's strength is not her toughness. Use her in a charge and she will die. The best option is to use her as a flanking unit to go around the sides of the knights and get to the cleric or enchantress or mages at the back. She is best used with support from a knight and usually a scout. Alternatively, due to her high blocking, you can use her as part of a knight wall, or keep her in reserve to take out anything that gets through your knights.

the absilougt best way i have found out to use a assin is to put them al arounf you. make a big wall with them.
o ya i have 4 so i can do that.

I've found assassins make really great cheerleaders, stick them on the sidelines and they tend to keep morale so high your units will block more often.

bottles has got the right idea...and I suppose london does too.
Assassins are really sorta a backup melee character. Aside from the high blocking, they don't have too much else going for em. Use em in combo with ur knight and scout and they will do wonder for yah though.

I run 3 assassins. I'm finding out that they really aren't as cool as I thought they were, power wise. However, they are damned fast. And they have the ability to almost always get behind a unit that is attacking up close to her. That being said, I usually keep them within range of my LW or scout. Assassins really need help taking down other units.

Assassins have a major weakness... they can be taken down in 2 hits if hit by a knight/DMW and a scout/assassin. 3 assassins sounds like too much to me, don't you use your knights? I'd take 3 knights over 3 assassins anyday.

I replaced the 3 Knights with 3 assassins, it really hasn't worked like I thought it would. I'm using 2 clerics, 2 dmw, 1 scout, 1 Enchantress, and 1 LW. maybe the assassins don't fit into this setup?

No. That simply doesn't have enough sticking power. Take out at least 2 of the assassins, and get those knights back in. Assassins should be mainly used as flankers in conjunction with knights, not instead of them.

Do you know how to take a screenshot? If you do, just host it on www.imageshack.us and then post a link to it on the forum.
I consider it the most useless unit in this game. They can be useful only in limited situations, like when your formation is in very need of another knight . Barrier ward and enchtress are better choice if you know how to use them well.
Their poor health make them bad at attack. Their high blocking doesn't help much; when you attack, you should be expected to be surrounded, and magic users around.
They are ok at defending against archers. Place it at your flank, and they can prevent enemy's archer from coming close. Still, 3 hits is 51, not enough to kill a healed archer.
