It sounds like some what of a good idea but I think the attack patter covers too mush area. I also think it would be better if the attack was more like a scout so only one unit could be Hypnotised at a time.

Sounds to me like a weak frostie, (if it paralyzes only one unit at a time), or a weak enchantress (less hp.).

I dont think he ment the unit would become paralyzed but by Hypnotiseing the unit it can be controlled by you.

IMO there should be a turn limit on how long you can control an opponents unit with the Hypnotist Otherwise you could place a few of them on your side turn all advancing units in the start of the game to your side and turn half of your opponents army against him for the remainder of the game. Or even better... Hypnotize one of his hypnotists and then use his hypnotist to steal one of his clerics or dragon tyrants and blow his army to pieces. Needs a turn limit or unit restriction or something on it.

I'm assumeing it means that unit that is hypnotisedis now under the hypnotist users control.. In my opinion it's overpowered. I mean it's the same as a chanty but you get to use their unit. Perhaps there should be a wear off time.

It is basically, a far weaker frosty. It has less than half the HP (a dragon can kill it in one hit, or a souped-up pyro) and a shorter range. Yeah, so you can use the hypnotised unit. But the focus could still be broken easily.
