OK, so I've been playing TAO for little over a month now...just recently registered for this forum. I've met so many cool people, I thought it was time to make myself known some more.
I love the fact that this section even exists...how very optimistic...so, I thought I'd throw out some suggestions, too.
This first suggestion comes from my personal life...something I've wanted for a long time (the suggestion, not the personal life). I think my life would be so much better with theme music. You know, like if you're at a party and you look across the room and see a pretty girl...and violins start to play from somewhere...you'd know you were in. Or if you get home late one night and when you stick your keys in the front door, you hear ominous organ music, you could just go back to your car and call the police:
"911, what's your emergency?"
"Yeah, I just got home and when I got to the front door, I heard ominous organ music."
"We'll send an officer right away, sir, stay right where you are!"
OK, well, that's never gonna happen in REAL life, but if they could integrate that into the game, that'd rock...like if I was about to make a dumb move that would freeze my dragon right in front of all the knights of some new grey player...ominous organ music. Stopped a scout right before he strikes the killing blow to my cleric...triumphant fanfare.
Yeah, not gonna happen, I guess.
Well, anyway...Is there any way we could ignore a single player in the lobby? How about a strangle mode where you could reach through the computer and choke the living bejesus out of any moron who types asdfasdfasdf a thousand times or who waits until the timer runs out on every single move in a battle?
No luck there, either, eh?
Oh well. Take note, folks...I vow to consistently spew forth this type of mindless ranting until the Banff server is back up and Bottle or Only_Option can get back to kicking my butt.
>sigh< I hate insomnia (sad, depressing classical music drones on in background...)
