View Full Version : My Evidence...
Ct Jack Sparrow

This is the thread where I will post my evidence that I am not who The Informer claims me to be. I'm Ct Jack Sparrow....Here's where I prove it...I ask you all to halt on your judgement until next week...that is to say: 12:00 AM on 5/13/04. That is where I will have my proof.

Just show us your letter man, that's all.

I ask you to explain why we need to wait.
I can think of a few reasons:
1) You're working on an elaborate photoshop of some kind.
2) You're searching the internet for resources which will allow you to fabricate an acceptance letter.
3) You actually do know someone at MIT, and you're trying to contact them to "borrow" their identity in order to prove that you're a student there.
4) You are trying to compile as much information about the institute as you can, so when you do return with your fake letter, photo, or whatever it is you're going to provide, that you can corroborate it with your "knowledge."
So, if it's not one of these reasons, or some other smoke screen aimed at delaying long enough for you to acquire false proof, then what is the reason for the delay? If I were a student at MIT and asked to prove it, I could do so without delay.

still...I made that long ago...If I had access to photoshop outside of class, as johnny Chimpo claims I do, I would have used THAT to touch it up, not paint.
Also, Snarr...since you closed the other one...Could you take a screen shot of my IP, and then his IP and put them right next to eachother? If so, thanx, that would be great.
I would owe you eternaly :)
Also, I'm just currious...do you believe me? Or still not enough evidence. Your oppinion, particularly, matters.

Captain Jack's IP: 65.96.75.55
Location: Attleboro, MA
Distance to Cambridge, MA: 50 miles
That's quite a commute you've got there, Captain Jack. Care to explain why your computer lab is an hour's drive from campus?

You want a shovel to help you with that hole you're digging?
That is the location of your IP, and you are at your computer. You have to be wherever your IP is. If it's scrambled, why would it show up near a "faction of MIT" (what the fuck is a faction of MIT?)? You're done, just leave.

Also, that IP Address is owned by "Comcast Cable" in Sudbury, MA. Something tells me MIT doesn't get their internet service from Comcast in a city 50 miles away.

How the hell can you be a graphic designer and not have photoshop outside of class? I dont think so. If you were a student in the MIT graphic design program, it would be necessary to have photoshop on your home computer so you could do homework assignments and projects. NO GRAPHIC DESIGNER USES PAINT. You are a noob, your scheme has been found out. So much evidence points to the fact that you are just some average joe who made up some false info to look cool on an internet webpage.

Haha. I mean, seriously. Haha. That's the funniest thing I have ever read. If I had even a shred of doubt that you weren't totally and absolutely 100% full of shit you just removed it. Seriously, "IP Scramblers?" What is this the fucking Matrix? You're living in a fantasy world, dude. You're busted. Plain and simple.
If such a thing existed, they would be most certainly be illegal. The whole point of an IP address is to uniquely identify your machine on the internet. You can't just "decide" to scramble them, even if you are MIT. It would be absolutely and totally illegal to do so.
there is a faction of MIT very close by to....Did you say...Attleburo
Umm, no there's not. There's are the kinds of things you can find out very quickly on the internet, my friend. Your lies are becoming more and more transparent as you realize that you are being exposed. Just give up and admit defeat.

Search Google for "ip address" + "geographic location." There are web-based services for looking up the location of IP addresses, as well as the DNS information, such as to whom the IP address is registered.

You know up to now everything could be explained away....
But IP scramblers??? Sorry, but you have no such thing. That is a Comcast Cable Communications Holdings, Inc IP, which means you use a cable modem. And guess what? No one is buying your bull anymore now that you have become desperate in your lying, and inventing technology that does not exist.
By the way, there is IP masking, where you can hide your IP. But that is illegal in the US, and all the IP's from it go to overseas account, not Comcast.
JC, the IP is to identify your ISP address, not your exact machine. It tracks the connection you have to the internet. Unless you have a static IP, your actual IP changes quite often. But your right that the scrambling doesn;t exist.

And so the chapter in TAO's history known as "The Sparrow Escapade" comes to a close. The Dark Lord would like to give a formal apology at this time. Chimpo, I am very sorry I doubted your words in the least. Sparrow, you are ruined. Even if you come and personally show me a MIT acceptance letter, a complete family tree dating back to your earliest greek roots signed by everyone listed on that tree, and a video tape of you proposing to lauren, on one knee, with R. Kelly peeing all over you and your grandma watching, I still will have my doubts. If you want to be a part of this community, get a new name, and never mention again that you are indeed Ct Jack Sparrow. Finally, in the words of my favorite nemesis. . .

It was me. MIT has no Graphic Arts or Graphic Design program. The closest thing they have is a Media Arts & Sciences program, but that really doesn't appear to have much in common with traditional Graphic Design.
Incidentally, MIT is a prestigious technical institute, but there are certainly many, many institutions that are much more respected in the field of Graphic Arts and Graphic Design. RIT (http://www.rit.edu) comes to mind. If he really were a Graphic Designer he probably would have known that, and pretended to go to a school that's actually known for having a decent program in his field.
Interesting, too, that before this CJS was replying almost immediately in every thread. Now he seems to have gone strangely silent. Perhaps he finally drowned in his own soupy bullshit.

Actually, with the major cable ISP providers, they only list the main office. Mine is a 90 minute drive from where I live. You also use Road Runner, through a company called Midsouth. So their main office must be in Charlotte.
