Name: Avatar of Light

HP: 34
Power: 12
Blocking: 25%
Armor: 20%
Movement: 3
Range: 4
Movement downtime: 1
Attack downtime: 1

Specail: Normal attacks have an added blinding effect of adding two turns to a unit's wait time. Barried units are protected from damage, but not from the increased wait time. Successful blocks protect unit from both damage and added effect.

Alternate attack. Affects all units in range of two. Avatar of Light erupts in a glourious blaze, sacrificing itself, and increasing every unit's wait time by two. 0 Damage is dealt. Barried units are not protected. Unblockable.

I am the first one!

Here is what I think, the secobdary ability is very unique because so far in TAO units canoot self destruct unless they target themselves. I like how you have it as 2 turns, it is much more useful than 1 turn, because as soon as you add it, the next turn you lost the turn thing again, so it would be useless unless something else needed to recover.

I like this unit idea, you have my support!

Is the added wait time a focus spell? Is it permanent?

Just a few questions, but I like.:)

I like it kind of...

The secondary attack might not get used a whole lot. The power is a little low, I don't think it would be too powerful if you increased it's power to...let's say...16? I came up with an idea of a dragon that added two to enemies wait time. It counted as two units 'cause I gave it 18 power and nasty HP/Armor. However, I would have to say your idea is...better. I like the low HP high armor thing. It's pretty cool. Ahh, looking at my old dragon units inspires me to come up with a new idea.

If you don't feel like reading all that...

1. Increase power to 16
2. Definitely keep the 34 HP, 20 Armor thing.
3. I like it...

I have to disagree with raising the power at all. If anything i believe this unit is overpowered. With a range of 4 this unit can stay behind protected yet still easily hit units. And once they are hit your units can so easily pick that unit off. I mean you hit any unit, even an assasin or a knight who's biggest advantage is their low recovery time and make them as slow as a pyro. You could give a witch a 6 turn recovery...

Basically any unit that attacks the turtle and be reduced to a sitting duck just through one hit by the Avatar of Light.

Also with the sacrifice attack you could at the start of the game charge with the avatar and hit 4 or 5 units who will permantently have an incresed wait time.

There should be a wear off period or something other wise it ruins the balance of speedy characters becoming terribly slow.

It is not a focus spell, nor is it permanent.

For instance, Scout moves and attacks, waits two turns. Avatar of light attacks scout, scout waits 4 turns, 4 turns pass, scout acts as normal, and waits as normal, unless attacked again.

Seriously guys how hard was that to figure out. That is why the power should be increased.
