Just to stow up some trash talk and trouble...when is your clan really a clan?
I think it needs a few things...
1. Certain lasting/longevity - you don't "make" a clan. You make a group, it becomes a clan. Those "clan-o-the-day" out there that every new gold makes aren't really clans...as their lifespawn is measurable in hours.
2. Website - lets face it, its a necessity. While there are certainly many other ways to communicate, you really need a website and forums for ur own group. Otherwise, who are you kidding, you have no real way to make announcements for ur group, maintain any real organization, or even have a general idea who IN the group.
3. player longevity - you gotta have some lasting players. If your on your fourth leader this week, and the guy who you sparred with yesterday has already joined and left 2 other clans...chances our urs isn't really gonna have this.
Any other factors? I suppose community is a factor..though I've seen some groups out there that don't really have that one (either from size or lack of central organization) and are doing pretty ok, which is why i didn't include it.
