I realize this could be interpreted as a ferociously LAME thread, but I would actually like some feed back. My wife and I have decided to go see a movie this afternoon and it will be the first time we've been able to venture out to the theater since our baby was born ( when I find out who the father is, so help me...) in March. We were thinking Van Helsing. I was wondering if anyone saw it opening day and if it's any good. Normally, I would see anything and not care, but when you have a baby it's tough to get out and I would rather not waste time on a piece of shitola. Holler back or BRING THE FLAME!

Well, I went and saw it last night and it's not bad, but it is way overhyped. I thought they tried to pack too much into it, 3 monsters, way too many special effects, non-era correct gadgets, that it began pushing the plot out of the way. There are a couple of nice twists and it's probably the best movie in theaters right now, unless, knowing you, you like Mary Kate and Ashley, so maybe you should see New York Minute instead :D

It was good once. I wouldn't go see it again though.

omg, yeah ok, the guy who played dracula was ssoo bad. But it was AWESOME... ok a lil cheesy at parts.. but cmon its freaking Van Helsing!!!

I would sssooo go and see it again... but thats cuz Im a girl.. and Hugh Jackman is hot and rips his shirt off...and I like action movies

I didn't like it. I saw it last night with some of my friends. One of my friends fell asleep because it was so lame. I don't know why but this movie just seemed lame.

I saw it opening day and it was a really good movie.....It's worth going to see.
