this is a url that leads to a site designed by me to display some of the better units created by a group of the originals from this forum. If you like any or think some should be revamped in one way or another please feel free to comment.

It has been brought to my attention that 1 or two of the units there have been suggestion multiple times, but keep in mind that everything posted there was original when first created.

I really like a number of your ideas renegade.

But I don't know how many people have seen them. Maybe you should post them in this thread?

I know they're on the website but people are lazy. :D

P.S. I love the stone ward and death bringer.

Name: Monk
Hit Points: 35
Power: 20

Movement Range: 4
Recovery Time: 1
Blocking: 80% front, 40% sides, 0% back

Attack Pattern: Attacks 1 unit adjacent to him. 20% chance to paralyze opponent for 2 rounds on attack.

Appearance: The monk carries a long deadly staff. The staff has some carvings and circles near the top and bottom, although the middle of the staff is bare and enables the monk to have a firm grip. The top of the staff is blunted and sturdily held together. The monk strikes its opponents with his staff for fair damage, and uses the staff and his quick reflexes to block incoming attacks.

Blocking: 100% front, 75% sides, 0% back

Attack Pattern: Attacks a single adjacent unit and the space behind that unit.

Appearance: Heavily armored unit with a large stabbing spear in one hand and a massive sheild in the another.

Special: Phalanx cannot move, attack, and change facing position, it may only do two of the three commands in a turn.

Recovery Time: 3, 0 if combat power not used
Blocking: 50% front, 30% sides, 0% back

Attack Pattern: Teleports a single friendly unit into a targeted square ajacent to the Arrogater. This power cannot be used if there are no empty squares ajacent to him. Transported unit must be mobile.

Appearance: Mage surrounded by a spell shield tinted in team colour. Speel shield is oblong sphere that surrounds the Arrogater and lighting crackles around it. Blocking graphics are a piece of lightnig striking incoming attack.

Blocking: 33% front, 13% sides, 0% back

Attack Pattern: Creates a dome of light energy around a 3 by 3 tile area that lasts for 2 turn. Missile attack and ranged spells cannot enter this area, but spells may exit. Melee attacks work as usual.

Appearance: Humanoid who appears to be robed in pure light slightly tinted to team colour.

Blocking: 100% all sides

Attack Pattern: Creates a boulder that fills a single tile within 8 tiles of the Ward. Boulders have 35 hit points and last until destroyed.

Appearance: 3 stone obelisks set around a floating boulder.

Name: Serpent

Blocking: 60% front, 30% sides, 0% back

Attack Pattern: Attacks a single target within a 2 space range of the Serpent, and poisons the target, causing 5 damage at the start of your next 2 turns unless the target is healed by any healing unit during that time.

Appearance: Coiled serpent with head raised like a cobra ready to strike. Blocks with think scales on top of head, strikes by lunging forward.

Blocking: 60% front, 30% sides, 0% back

Attack Pattern: Attacks a single target on an ajacent tile.

Appearance: Lightly Armored unit, carrying a katana blade.

Special: Raises chance to hit of all friendly units within 2 tile of the Shogun by 10%, and chance to block by 10%. This ability is always active.

Name: Death Keeper

Power: 25
Armor: 0%
Movement Range: 4
Recovery Time: 2
Blocking: 50% front, 25% sides (on a successful block, the attacker takes 50% of the damage he would have inflicted.)

Attack Pattern: Attacks a single target on an ajacent tile. Each successful attack against an enemy unit gains the Death Keeper 10 hit points. Hit points may not exceed 35.

Appearance: hands are shriveled up and have long fingernails. It wears a long pitch black robe. Is hooded so you can’t see its face. Walks silently as its feet are hidden underneath the robe.

Special: The Death Keeper cannot be healed.
