TAOers of the grand community of Great Lakes:

A new force has arisen against the dark tyranny of the older clans of this server. A mighty force to rebel and strike against the old ways of server. No longer will these villians go unchecked on Great Lakes. We will rise and strike down these black stains to TAO and leader Great Lakes to a new era. An era where honor, fellowship and sportsmenship exude from this wonderful server.

The path is not easy, these foul tyrants did not rise to power by being weak. They are strong but we will be stronger. If you are a grey 1100+ or a gold 1250+ and believe you have what it takes to overcome the old monarchy, join us. Join us and together we will dominate this server. May I ask what caused the random "Attempt" to take over Great Lakes. I mean I'm up for clans spreading and such forth, But what made you decide to all out come to GL to try and take it over?

Netjak is not about "owning" a server by sheer numbers. It is about collecting a group of elite players to "dominate" a server.

Chosing to believe we are all "noobs" puts a big 'ole smile on my face. Your denial that it is happening and underestimating us is clear evidence that we, the underdogs, are going to prevail.

I don't mage bomb, it doesn't show skill and is easily beaten by skilled players. In fact, i only lost once or twice to them as a GREY, let alone a gold. In fact in all the matches i have played as eindeg-dein, we agreed to not use a single mage! We choose skill matches and well, you see the results.

Anal23, how exactly did you get 2 dragons? Sounds like a cheater to me.

Ducki, don't let anyone dictate how you play the game. The bottom line is that if "supposedly skilled player(a)" loses to "n00b player (b)", then (a) sucks worse than (b), despite whatever people might say.

So Aro, I respectfully disagree with you. But if you talk trash about my clan again, I'll leave the respect out next time.

Like I said, this is all about having fun. Netjak and SI have pushed each other to higher levels of gameplayin Banff, and this is why Banff PWN3D the gold tourney. We at netjak like a new challenge, a new fight, and we LOVE THIS GAME.

If anybody thinks there is something wrong with that, then you're WRONG. Netjak has brought the fight into Banff, into Revelations, into Legends, and now we're bringing it into Great Lakes. And we look forward to the competition in all of those places.

Well I like Twelve. And Netjak, as much as I despise Mage Bombing, I can't deny the fact that you're a well-established clan. Just quit the trash talk Ducki and Eindeg. You say you promote good sportsmanship, well talking crap about a clan you know very little of if anything at all is certainly not a display of good sportsmanship. I totally agree with you, the game is about having fun, and I totally agree with you about trying to better it with some intense competition, but making fun of eachother and calling people names is not a display of what you said, so just stop that.

Greetings to those of GL. I am sorry if ducki errmmmmm...... jumped the gun a bit on posting screenie scalps and not giving enough respect to Bushido Gaiden (btw what exactly does that mean?). It has been my expierience that if you trash ducki in any way he will trash back (no offense ducki) so if both sides give it a rest the conflict should resolve itself. I will more than likly see many of you at somepoint as I am partially participating in the expansion to GL (we picked GL because it is obviously better than armaggedon;)j/k I really don't have enough expierience to say who is better ). I shall see you in the lobby and/or arena.

ps For those of you who don't know (Lord Achilles) Eindeig-Dein is lord ducki

pss. I can understand your beef against those who use the mage bomb and nothing else for it requires "no skill" which is for the most part true, but I think it would take some skill to create/perfect this formation. So I think you should give us a bit more respect because I do not think one active member uses the mage bomb on a consistent basis

I am sorta dissappointed to see this thread. I have respect for lord ducki. We have not yet played, but according to my clan mates, he's a good player. I'll take their word for it. Posting screen shots of beating a player LACKS class. I don't care if he/she trash talks, mage bombs, or n00b jumps.

They did what? No offense to Netjak, they're a good clan and all. Banff is SI's domain. SI had to turn down good players at a point so that we could have competition. I have never been beaten by a member of Netjak(Twelve was the closest, but he D/C'd halfway through, and it was still close). IMO, Netjak started to slide when pyro_guy4 left...

You guys have been talking about a new order to GL and stuff(I dunno if this is role play or whatever). I have to ask, whats wrong with the way GL is? I don't mean to come over and start anything, but I had to express my opinion.

I've played many netjaks.

Only one of them did not mage bomb. What am I to assume then? Chances are I would assume the whole clan is mage bombers because I have only played netjaks who are, indeed, mage bombers (and they hail from banff, mage bomber central of TAO).

Cosgrove you know me and my temper too well. But, as you also know I don't start things, I finish them. ;-)

I posted a recruiting message on GL and was immediately attacked by BS people. Of course, I fired back. With all the views of this thread and reactions of BS people, I would say their clan is not as stable as they seem to think. Oh well, that is their internal problem.

All I know is that netjaks have started to assemble on this server and people are starting to pay attention. Everyday, I am told by people, not only BS (I prefer BS to bushido garden.. more fitting to all the hot air emminating from that group), that Netjaks suk and we are weak and to go home cause we don't belong here, blah blah blah. To which I calmly jot down the names and wait my turn to strike back.

At the moment, for every 10 negative reactions I get 1-2 very positive ones. I have played a few members from other clans and was GREATLY impressed by their skill and attitude. I think there are some great people here and love playing with them cause it is fun. However, I want a few of them in the clan because I think they will make great additions to group.

Netjaks have fun with the game, we love the competition. We teach each other about the game and how to improve even hold internal competitions with prizes. In terms of rivalry, just read this thread to see that. I mean I just love the whacky soap opera it has created and it has led me to believe I might have a career scripting for the WWF. On banff, Netjak hold a great rivalry with SI, whose, whether we care to admit it or not, skills we greatly respect. Heck we've even innovated parts of it, look at mage bombs (a netjak creation, though not my favorite).

Netjak is a great clan and a great bunch of people who happen to be fricking good if not dominating at this game. If people have a problem with us, that is just lovely coz, we'll just keep on smacking them down and shaking things up. It's in our nature.

so for BS and any others that can't handle it: "lighten up" for the rest of you, see you on the field and hopefully we can become friends or good natured rivals.

1. I called your clan a dumb name because you called mine (repeatedly) a dumb name. When I played you on Rev just a few days ago, I don't think I was anything but courteous. If you want to get into personal attacks though, then fine.

2. Bushido is the dominating clan on GL, simply put. The Elite were, but they're not really around for the moment. Many other clans are quite strong too, and we do treat many of them as allies. If you come and say "my clan is taking over Great Lakes!", of course we're going to start going after you, regardless of what clan it is. The fact that it's netjak.com, a clan which people generally associate with magebombs (reasons for which are already stated in this thread), only adds fuel to the fire.

Ha! You're dreaming man! Banff WAS most certainly your domain, but if it is not now our domain, it is most certainly not entirely yours!!

And when I D/C'd against you, we both know that I was about to win. :D Still wish that I can play you again to settle that.

And Pyroguy4 is STILL a member of netjak and he will return. All of the guys with the best rating on Banff, with the exception of Bottle and Big X, were once on netjak. We've expanded to Legends and Great Lakes for the sake of more competition. So if we're sliding anywhere, it's to a neighborhood near YOU.

For all you guys who can't handle the mage bomb, answer me this: why does a mage bomb SUCK against a grey?? Because all of you golds sit in the corners and put a little shield on, then you cover yourselves up with bushes. Why do you think the pyro can attack in a cluster that happens to match the turtle exactly? Hey, don't look down at us for having the guts to get right in the faces of turtles!!

Look, everyone who knows me knows that I'm a man of respect. Ducki, who is Eindeg-Dein, is also a good man. He's just talking trash and having fun. Heck, I poked fun at a teammate and the entire opposing clan at the same time. :D Thirdly, my clan is, well, very stable. Oh, I'm the leader of BG. Please don't be offended by anything my clan says, we're like all the assholes on this site who have come together and formed a clan. You will not meet a bigger group of offending people than BG, so don't take it personally, it's just our nature.

And Ducki, I would be more than happy to have some friendly competition. I love wars, so it would bring some real fun times if we had a little quarrel. I totally agree with you, play the game for fun. Bushido is the same thing, we're people who like this game and we're good at it too.

And about your "cleansing the server" thing. I actually believe Bushido has done more to clean a server in general than any other clan on the site. We have a training clan where all of my members have accounts in, and have to put in two hours a month of helping out noobs with their gameplay. We also all have freewins accounts and beat the people who want to cheat, so with the help of Aro and Wb, we almost eliminated that element completely.

So just lay off the insults and we will too. You can't expect to insult us and not retalliate. So start calling us Bushido, and not BS, and we'll call you Netjak, and not Netjak-off.

Righto, looks like we have all come to agreement on the you-no-trash-me, I-no-trash-you subject (although I may have witnessed one of the most hypocritical statments ever, I wont name names).

Anyhow in response to Mr. Wolf's posts about SI being the current dominant on banff, they may still be but it is highly debateable (sp?). i would defiantly say that SI was the most dominant on banff for a while but after the near total departure of Rescorlian, meletus, and yourself wolf (from banff that is) and the Shadow Realm scandal-ish thing it has not been the same. SI still posseses some of the power houses in Bottle, Say What?, the brothers, and Ravus Rhin but apart from that is not what it once was. I think any non-bias old timer on Banff would reach the same conclusion (although that may be bias speaking here).

I am also still wondering to the meaning (if any in particular) to the name Bushido Gaiden.

Well unlike most clans, I wanted my name to mean somthing when I made it rather than sound cool. I am a very devoted Martial Artist, so of course I know of Bushido (But do not practice it.) Summed up, here's what it means:

Bushido: Bushido is Japanese, it translates to "Way Of The Blade." Bushido was the Samurai Code Of Honor, it was to Samurai what Chivalry was to Knights. Bushido taught to never be dishonorable, or to never retreat from battle.

Gaiden: Gaiden is also a Japanese name. Gaiden translates to "Master, or Perfectionist." (Note: Their is three meanings to Gaiden, people often think it means somthing else, and technically it does, but this is also a correct definition.)

So fully translated, Bushido Gaiden means "Way Of The Blade Master."

All this trash talk means nothing unless its backed up on the field. If, indeed, Netjak is all they claim to be, they should be able to 'take over' GL without much problem. Otherwise, Im pretty sure Bushido Gaiden doesnt need to worry.

PS - Look up Bushido Gaiden for it's meaning.

Thank you Lord Achilles for enlightening me to the meaning of Bushido Gaiden..I guess ours comes from the site(many orignal members write/frequent the site) so much less deep.

Surpisingly enough, I am part of netjak on GL. Scary huh? And the few run ins I've had with BG have been positive on the most part. The only thing that's been bad is that they say that netjak is against everything I stand for. Not true really. I have had a good relationship with netjak on banff and thought they needed some help on the upstart.

I'd say don't let the trashtalking get out of hand. Some friendly competition is always a good thing, as long as it's still friendly. Basically, you get whatever you put into it, so try being good to people and they will hopefully reciprocate.

As a rookie member of banff I have had nothing but positive reinforcement and great guidance from the older members. I have nothing against your clan or anyone else for I play this game for love of sportsmanship and competition. I must however ask 1 question just out of curiousity. However before I do let me say that when I join GL I look forward to many great matches against your grays as well as your golds if I may be so fortunate for I always love to improve at this game even if I know I am going to get creamed I can guarantee at least that you will get my best and that it will be an honarable match. Now that I've gotten the pleasentries out of the way. If you are so honarable and help us noobs so much as you say. I must know who is telling the lies your posts or your signature sir?

SI is the reigning clan on Banff. We were the first, and the best. We've beaten the other top clans, and have dominated. The way we've represented ourself in the Revelation tournament can prove this(Although, only me and nads were in SI when KwOzmaj and ViS were our rivals). It is not entirely ours, I'll agree with you there. SI is the top clan there. I would say even you would recognise that.

I gave you recognition about that game. You D/C'd halfway through. The game was still close. I'm trying to remember that game, but I still give you credit for being the best Netjak player I have played. I don't think you were about to win, but I don't think I was either. It was still close.

I made a mistake about pyro_guy4 then. He has dissappeared from Banff, and has gone to Legends(Where he is in SGR, and not Netjak for some reason).

I suppose you are talking about Draquist and Darque as the guys with the best rating. I'm not sure about all of that. I left Banff when Darque and them were recruited. Draquist, was a bomber. He get me when we played, even though I still beat him. I dunno about Darque. Haven't played him. Draquist left Netjak, I guess, and joined IQ in the clan Next. Scorpionb Smiter left SI and joined them. They fell shortly after.

I have no problems with Netjak. I respect you guys, but the way lord ducki is representing himself is not respectable(Whether he's having fun or not. He's looking like an idiot). I just wanted to post here and give my opinion. Since I've faced many Netjak players and all

Why is it still debateable? Please explain this to me. Yes, Rescorlian has left. I left, and moved to Army, but am still in SI.

CertifiedDORK, a SI member who had leadership roles, lied to all of us. He then lied to all the members he could find by saying that "Meletus went crazy, and expelled him from the clan for no reason". CD had the trust of our members, so they believed them. CD made the clan Shadow Realm, and so the SI's he took joined. When Meletus came back on, he talked to the SI's that had left, and explained the situation. The loyal ones came back, and the rest stayed...they are not allowed back in now. Meletus has not left

We do have strong players. They are devoted to SI, and are well respected. I've heard accusations that SI is dying, and such. I simply laughed at these people, and pitied them. SI is one of the top clans on TAO, and we won't go down so easily.

As to the way Banff is not what it use to be, yes, I agree with you. But I think it has changed in a good way. A while ago, Banff was the most underrated server. Now, we are possibly the best.

Lord Achilles, I just found out from one of my players that was playing CTA a member bushido garden before the most recent crash, ugh again, that CTA was making racist comments about jews. That players wife happened to be have a jewish background and was deeply offended. I think that THAT kinda bigotted comments don't belong in any worthy clan much less anywhere in TAO or elsewhere. It is a sad day that players on TAO resort to words of hate.

I am holding back my guys because I DO NOT want to see that kinda poor shameful behavior as a human being take away from the fun of the game. I am thouroughly disgusted by CTA. I am curious as to your response.

Points well taken Mr. Wolf, but in my opinion after that CD incident (ughhhh he lied to netjak aswelll and was with us for like 3 days, bad times) it really shook your clan a lot but admirably it recovered quite nicely. to the subject of meletus and your self not being gone, I completly realize that you are still strongly SI but at the current time we are discussing SI on banff, and yes I do see meletus from time to time but each time it is becomes more rare. Then again I cannot see behind just the lobby and I am sure he is active in every way otherwise and the overall regularity of clan members being on has dropped somewhat. I never claimed that we were dominant on banff (my clan members may have), and we aree not but I don't think at this point in time it would be fair to call banff SI's realm. Si was unquestionably the dominant force on banff for a while. I suppose you and I can argue about this for many more pages to come but I think it would be best if we dropped this subject before it gets out of hand, after all this topic was about GL not banff.

Second, you have to put the screenies into context. The context was that those players were trash talking me from the moment i posted a recruiting message..THEY STARTED IT. So, I retalliated.. perhaps a bit too hard, sometimes my temper gets the better of me. oh well.. i think that people who try and bully people and intimidate them are wrong and the only way to handle them is to stand up against them. So, I did, perhaps a bit hard, but it seems to have got their attention and the message "netjak is not an easy mark" across.

That is wrong, I can assure you he will be talked to and punished severely, I don't want that crap in my clan, so thank-you for alerting me of this.

And Dar is the only member who made fun of you, but you must expect that due to what you said about him on your first post, after-all, you made it seem as though you swiftly beat him.

Alot of my members do not use the forums, so are unaware of these peace offerings. I will make the welcome message include that they all must respect you in an honorable fashion, and I will also include the example of CTA, I will not kick him out, but if this happens with any of my members again they're gone. Maybe you should do the same with the welcome message, I'm still getting a bit of crap thrown my way, but other than that everything should be fine.

We just got off to a rough start, I'm hoping things will be better in time.

yup working on it we have been here 1 month and have 7% of the top 100.. slowly my friend.. I want to reach double digits on that number by next month.

Just as importantly, I want GL to get some face back in the TAO community. Hell, even DR is dissing us in the revelation update on the home page. Although plusminus (#3), is a GL player.

I think that to make that happen we need to:
1) Remove trauger from #1.. I think just about everyone on GL knows how I feel about that. :rolleyes:

2) Get some more GL's into the top 10-20 on Rev. That Banff lot seems to be dominating everything.

3) Build up some skills and honor within GL. There are too many golds on GL with stats under 1000, which i find kinda sad. Yes, we are server with a lot of younger players, but those low stats prevent people from reaching the 1700s which we find on the other servers. And the golds need to start playing each other not always the greys. They are just too worried about stats, which is kinda pathetic.

you must be a member of clan netjak.com on any server that netjak has established a clan. If not, your out.

it is a hard line, but we have built up a successfull community of great TAO players with out policies.

having played on legends, I know there is quality there, but any new competition is a welcome addition as it means more points for us. ;)

I may be a little late jumping in on this thread, but as leader of netjak on Banff; I wish the best for our recent expansion.

There couldn't be a greater choice as ducki to make our presence known.

After the hype dies, and after bloated golds try to "prove" themselves and challenge you; expect countless hours pining.

Regardless, the expansion of netjak is a wonderful thing. My advice to other clans... "Don't talk trash, and you'll suffer a less painful death."
