I think we need a day in my honor. Like a christmas, but instead of toys and eggnog you get beer and fire works. So lets pick a date.

How about today? * gets drunk and ruins Mother's Day brunch*

beer and fireworks? Sounds a lot like the 4th of July.

How about......Augest 5th? Don't think anything happens then. Worship of people who play TAO would be mandatory though, right?

How about Feb. 8th: your birthday!

Lord Achilles

Nah, that's already an international holiday. I say.... err..... June 3rd.

I know....

February 29th. It will be such a bug celebration, we could only handle it every 4 years.

Instead of Ach day, we should have TAO day, it should be tomorrow, May 09. Or, what day was TAO actually first up? It should be on the one year anniversary of TAO.

I love how many times you changed the date in one sentence. And why tomorrow? Never will I celebrate anything on a Monday.

Serge
05-09-2004, 04:25 PM
I only meant to change it twice, I thought tomorrow was the 9th for some reason...

Okay, it should be the last saturday of EVERY month, nothing like a holiday every month.

Lord Achilles
05-09-2004, 04:26 PM
Nah, hows about...... wait what are we gonna do on this holiday?

Bugs!

How 'bout stick bugs? or praying mantii?

Speaking of bugs, I challenge you all to find one person who genuinely likes earwigs. I have a theory that they are the only universally disliked bugs on the planet.

Does anybody like mosquitoes?

Hey Glam, post a poll, let's find out. :)

Beer and Fireworks, eh? Sounds like evryday in Canada, lol! If you would have put hockey in there, then that would have been scarey. Maybe some French people too, they are scarey, with their funny, sayings . . . .. I can't understand them, it is like they are talking a different, language or something.

Considering Snarr is French, you should watch what you say about the French, you filthy English pigdog.

Serge

Yo hablo un poquito Espanol . . .

I thought snarr was from Australia, at least that's what he told me back when he was a grey before he started posting on the forums regurally.

BloodyHandprint
05-12-2004, 04:26 PM
It's actually, I think, "hablo un poco de espanol" but that could be a different word arrangement than I'm used to.

Yers, I'm pretty sure he's French. He's said so sometimes, and doesn't he just feel French to you?

I am taking spanish, but suck at it horribly. they lost me back in seventh grade when we learned how to say I like equals me gusta.:D

Serge
05-12-2004, 04:36 PM
Oh, I forgot "de".

poquito is an even stronger word than poco, it means a little litlle bit.

Snarr said he went to HS in Hong Kong or something, now I am really confoozed.

BloodyHandprint

I remember him saying that he traveled a lot. Maybe he was in australia and hong kong in those travels. I'm 99% sure that he's at the least residing in France at the moment.

Elentari

I thought he was in Hong Kong right now...

BloodyHandprint
05-12-2004, 05:08 PM
OK, he's in Hong Kong, then :D

Snarr, you lived in France until very recently, though, right? RIGHT? I'M NOT INSANE!!!

me gusta means it pleases me, but it amounts to the same thing.

Ah, poquito. That makes since. The q threw me. i'm used to just seeing the "ito" but I guess the c had to be changed to keep it phonetic. perrito, gatito, salchichita...

I love Spanish. Tu padre fue un roedor y tu madre olía de bayas del saúco!

It should be special like...... every weekday in spring! this way all the hard parts of school (and the tiring parts of work) end early for us with an excuse.

Whoops. I had father and mother switched. Whee...I am now crushed with shame.

¡Tu madre fue un hámster y tu padre olía de bayas del saúco!

TRANSLATION: Your mother was a hampster and your father smelled of elderberries!

Serge

Oooooooooh, I get it now, Holy Grail, muy comico . . .

About a week ago I found that there was at least one person who saw the Holy Grail and didn't love it, I was crushed.

Snarr

:D You guys are nutcases.

Let me make it clear.

I currently reside in France indeed and I am indeed half french. I lived in Hong Kong and graduated there a year ago for a period of 5 years but am not Hong Kongese (I have no clue whats the adjective for Hong Kongness). And before that, well thats history. I have no clue how you got that I'm Australian, but I do enjoy the occasional making fun of Australians. But then again I make fun of every nationality, even French.

Serge
05-12-2004, 07:43 PM
Snarr, I will swear until the day I die, that one time in the armageddon lobby you told me you lived in australia, it may have been a joke but you said it.

Snarr
05-12-2004, 07:49 PM
While that is possible, you now know the truth. Or is it? *dramatic chord*
