This idea is a little more out there than my usual thread. Enjoy!

Name: Mirror Golem

HP: 60
Power: (15)/--
Armor: 0%
Blocking: 0%
Movement: (3)/--
Range: (1)/--
Attack Downtime: (1)/--
Movement Downtime: (0)/--

Alternate attack: Clone. Range of two. Targets friendly or enemy units. Mirror Golem aquires the un-modified power, movement, range, Attack Downtime and Movement Downtime of target unit until the end of the game, or until the aquisition of other stats form another unit. This attack has a downtime of 0.

Mirror Golem also inherits the attack pattern and abilities of target unit. (Such as unblockable, or teleportation)

Mirror Golem can only target non/ward units which count as one unit with it's alternate attack.

Mirror Golem does not inherit passive abilities (such as dragon speak) or other alternate attacks (such as mud-quake).

What would be the point? A third scout with less movement and more HP?

Or a second dragon with less armor and no blocking...

so, this means that this would be the only way to get three scouts. and from what im reading here... 'un-modified power, movement, range, Attack Downtime and Movement Downtime of target unit '.... then that means that it is EXACTLY a mirror object. one question though... you say that it can aquire another unit's stats. so would its extra attack work like the mud golems quake?

Almost. Blocking and Armor remains at 0%, HP remains at it's current state, whatever that is.

Read the last line. No passive abilities or additional alternate attacks are cloned.

This unit has other uses too besides a third scout ^^ (which wouldn't be that popular once it started getting pinged with arrows it couldn't block), Say you need an extra furgon for a few turns, or The game is getting down to the wire, so you decide to clone your stone golem to give your last knight 85% armor. Or maybe you need a heal while your cleric is recovering... many uses.

i realize that there are many many uses. and as far as the scout thing is concerned, we all know how much more useful a stonied muddy is over a non stonied muddy. now add to that increased attack range so you dont have to be kissing the opponents cheek in order to attack, and yeah, HORRAY FOR THREE SCOUTS! that was just the example i was giving. and i was asking how, once you have aquired another unit already, would you go about changing the aquired ability? would it work like the muddy's quake?

sounds like a great idea x

cleric with 60 health? that could be hard to kill, double clerics are bad enough as it is lol

Same with 'chanty, with a cleric heal that can survive long enough to parylize all units attacking it.

Nice idea tho, I like it :)

Same with stone golem. Surely the stoney's *attack* counts as an ability and should not be allowed. I'd just clone the stoney on the first turn, double armor my dragon and scouts, and furgon it up. Kill the mud golem and you just can't lose. A dragon would deal 7 damage to another dragon and 9 damage to a scout.

<is one giant friggin' idiot. . .

OMG a cloned cleric or enchanty(since they don't have block or armor) would be the nastiness

But yeah, it should have an ability, activated like mudquake, that is used to give it back it's regular attack, waste one turn to switch from a cleric golem to a enchanty golem. . .

Great idea...

Perhaps making it so that the golem can only mirror another unit once?

Like, make itself another cleric, archer, stoney, whatever... and then it remains that for the rest of the game.

Even still... imagine 3 knights, with 85 armor.

An example, is that a dragon does 3 damage to a double stoned stone golem. A lw would do 5 damage, just barely, to a double stoned knight.

Thats quite... er... well...
