ok, well heres my idea for a unit

it is basicly a suicide unit, and it has 1 health, but it can move 5 spaces in any direction

and when it gets near a cluster of units you hit attack and it will blow up, and units around it will die

it does 25 - 30 damage

0=no hit
x=hit

i think its an ok idea, its not amazing, and id be suprised if they made it a unit, but oh well

Sort of like a petard. You might get people saying that it takes away strategy, and who knows? it might. However, no unit, no matter how weak, would really have 1 HP. Give it something realistic. 25 maybe? 0% blocking, no armour, and a movement range of only 3 since 5 is a little too crazy.

yea, i guess your right, but the point is that any unit can kill it, but when its killed, it does damage to all units near it, even friendly ones

A Petard? Ah.... I see you are not a AOE2 player. A petard was historically sort of like a sapper. In the game itself, the petard was a suicidal unit that carried two barrels of explosives. It would deal massive damage to buildings IF it could reach them. It had an area of effect like you're describing too.

And I saw where you were going with the one HP. It wasn't 'cause it would die in a hit, but that any hit would set off the explosives. It's a clever idea, but I just say to have hp of 25, and then have a drastically reduced movement. 2 or 3 would fit the bill, depending on which balances the unit out the best
