Alright...I just finished a game against Ginkgo where I seemed destined to lose.
I was pretty behind the whole game, and I got into a position where I was able to mez one of my own knights and one of his pyros, a knight, and his LW. I don't remember how it progressed exactly...but he picked off all but one of my witches, a knight, my LW a assassin and my cleric. All this time he kept moving people near my enchantress and I mezed them, forming a wall of his guys around me. I would keep my enchantress healed with my cleric and try to pick off whatever guys he had left with my wtich and assassin. I managed to kill his Cleric and both my witch and assassin get killed, leaving me with my cleric, a knight, enchant, and LW. Meanwhile he has 2 knights, a scout, a pyro, an assasin, a witch, and an LW.
The only thing that saved me was I had all but his knight Mezed in a wall totally surrounding my enchantress. His fatal mistake was he put his witch into a position where she could've killed my enchantress and damaged a few of his own guys...but instead opted to kill my scout who was in the process of attacking his cleric. I mezed her and finished off the cleric with my assassin before she was killed.
I thought he had won when he moved his knight(his only mobile character) over and killed my cleric...but I guess since I still had a usable character on the field, the enchantress, that i was still in the game.
In the end there was nothing he could do but kill one of his own characters in a desperate bid to get to my enchant...but I mezed him when he did this and won.
Sorry about how long this post is....but it was a damn funny game that I by all rights should've lost, but thanks to my enchant and a few bad moves on his part I won.
PS-the opponent is NOT a newb...I believe his record is 57-15 while mine is 46-17
