How many games have you won or lost due to blocking? I'm talking the games where your dragon blocks 9 time or your pyro blocks 5 times. Or the games where your knights get hit 10 times from the side.

I can think of at least 5 "big" games between myself and equal opponents that were decided, almost entirely, by totally imbalanced blocking by either myself or my opponent. Honestly, until the blocking calculations are changed (which I hear they NEVER will be) I cannot take this game seriously. It bothers me to no end that I can spend weeks working on my stats only to lose a match based on luck. This is a strategy game. I expect strategy games to be consistantly consistant, not consistantly inconsistant. This isn't my magic 8 ball.

I guess I'm just a cry baby, but I can't get used to random blocking in a "chess" game.

Flame on.

It is part of the game, even tho blocking is the #1 reason people quit. I have no problem with it most of the time.

I have played around 100 matches with players of equal skill as me. Around 10 of them were decided SOLELY due to blocking. I'm happy to have blocking screw it up once in a while, so long as it's no more than this.

OK, lets try how many wins have you had due to blocking? :D
If you lost 100 games due to blocking chances are you won 100 due to blocking

The problem is that people justify why they get good blocking in games, but not why they get bad blocking:

"Oh, well you shouldn't have attacked my witch from the side, try the rear next time"
"Each of those 5 pyro front attacks DID have a 1/3 chance of blocking... really no surprise he blocked them all"

As opposed to:
"I attacked this damn knight from the front five times now! How come I haven't hit!"

PS Post number 1800!!:)

I have noticed over time that you will almost always lose more games then win due to lucky blocking. And if someone ever tells me to try attacking from behind again, I will construct the giant robot and begin destroying the entire population of Earth.

Everyone says that they have lost more games due to blocking than they have won due to blocking. Therefore, the blocking system must benefit absolutely nobody, so it has to be destroyed.

How very logical.

Well everytime you lose due to blocking then SOMEONE is winning due to blocking. Right? :D So how is nobody being rewarded by it?
