I heard of this sight called "Jump the shark.com" at (presumably) www.jumptheshark.com
First off, has anyone ever been there?
Secondly, if so, how is it?
and third: I think we should have one of those types of discussions here. Does anyone want to start off with a show?
OMG: I just realized...I never told you what people do there. Here goes... It was created when Happy Days (? Name--its the one with Fanzi) started to go down hill. People there figuered that the reason that it ever DID fall in the first place was because, one time, Fanzi was on his motorcycle, and then jumped over a huge truck with a shark infested pool on top, in order to get some where. Thus, the phrase "Jump the Shark" orrigonally meant that when a show became so ridiculous, and outlandish that eventually people stop watching it. But it has now evolved to mean that when a show stops because people stop watching it. (never mind the ridiculous part)
So on www.jumptheshark.com people name shows and post replies accoridingly. If the show was in the past, and has already jumped the shark, then people make guesses/theories as to why. If the show has not yet jumped the shark then people guess as to when it will jump the shark/if it has already started jumping the shark.
An example of a reason that something jumps the shark is when they add a new charector...you know...the "Cutsie" little kid that is so adorable and nobody remembers where they're from/why they are there, and thus hates them.
So anyways. name a show, any show
