yeah nah it's looks saweet. I don't know it i would get into it that much though. I mean thats the kind of game that if you do something wrong and all the fanatics starts screaming at you going NOOOOO THE EVLES WOULDN"T LET THE HOBBITS USE THEIR GOLD MEDALLION OF HOPE AS A FRISBEE!!! which is something i would probably do. I might join and snoop around a bit if i got nothing to do one day

Solo has some advantages definitly.

One thing drawing me to the game it to join it when it starts. I mean like in TAO there was some of the people here... great players who have been here from day one that are legends of the game and are well known by up and comers like myself.... It's also a lot easier to get accepted if you are joining at the start than when people think there is too many new players already.

I think though at some stage you would have to be in a kinship in that game... I gotta read into it... i don't even know how it plays... is it like the LOTR game thats out on xbox and stuff just with more community kind of things?

its a MMORPG(massivley multiplayer online role playing game)
its basically like everquest or asherons call or star wars galaxys

but its gonna be WAY better :D

But anyways, meo looks pretty good, but very similar to another game that I have seen coming up, Warhammer Online. It seems almost exactly the same, except that they are based around similar but different things.... hmm....

I gotta say the graphics look insanely good. I don't know how my 56k would cope with that. I don't think it would be able to stream that fast.

It would be nice to actually play that game with a computer which has a good internet connection, but I guess you cant have everything... The graphics are amazing. I would love to play this game, although I dont know how it would be. Probably something like Morrowind? To me that seems like quite huge for an internet game. You would probably have to pay for something there. I am not a fan of internet games where I need to pay, because, quite simply, I wont.

Why not. It's a business. You go to an arcade you have to pay there. Just because there are so many games out there that are free doesn't mean other games shouldn't request payment. I mean the subsciption means that they game will keep evolving with new characters and tactics that come with them. I mean there has been an obvious drought at the moment but overall the idea of subscription games is a sound one. and $5 a month... thats like... not a lot lol.

Nah not a big fan of actualy name usernames. I'm registered now as Gnomea... I just found out there is a 600 second wait between posts... Sheesh!!! thats so harsh. To prevent spammers... and anyone else that whats to post more than once a day...

Its not that I wouldn't pay if I could pay it directly, I just don't like paying over the internet. Who knows what could happen... (actually the main reason is that I am cheap and if it can be for free I will take it, or if there is only say one downpayment, or if it is really cheap then I might pay, but other than that...hmm... not really..).
But a 10 minute wait between each post? Bit harsh there isnt it. Oh well.. I guess it is simply to stop spammers, and also people who actually want to say something, but hey.

But the problem for me is that I have 0 income. I dont rake in any money at all... That's a bit of a problem even for $5 a month. And in this game I like playing as a grey. As a gold it seems to be significantly easier, whereas as a grey it is still quite a challenge to beat other greys and your average golds.
The major problem though is my parents, they hate me using the computer for games as it is, let alone internet games, as they simply disconnect me from the internet whenever they see me on this game. I kinda sucks, and seeing as I am only 15, that's not gonna change all that soon.

Yeah MEO will be $15 up... It's unlikely they could sustain such a big game for any less. They will probably have to use advertisement too... hmmmm maybe i'll stick with TAO. Anyway it doesn't look like it's coming out for another year yet so nothing to worry about.

My mother is usually there on the task of the guilt trips, unless she is really pissed, then she will disconnect the internet. But my father will eventually remove my internet connection entirely, which sucks, as I now take his threats for real (he took my xbox from me for about 5 months....but I have it back now).
And sOOisidal, it all depends on money for me. As long as it is free, I will be there, but if it is not then that means more time for TAO, hehehe....
