1) Kill your opponent's mobile pieces before they kill u.

Depends all on your playing style if you play offensive put your units up farther.. with lots of high power units witches knights etc..

If your a defensive guy put all of your units in a corner with a LW and some knights forming a wall with a few high powered units and cleric

If you play flanking put your units in a few groups pretty far out then meet in the middle with some sort of pincer movement
