Erase free accounts every month!? NOOOOOO!

Tactics Arena is a wicked awesome game. I have also played the Tactics Core demo, which is the predecessor to Tactics Arena. There are, however, a few things that could stand some improvement. For one thing, deleting all free accounts at the end of the month is taking away from the popularity of the game. What's the point of gaining points and units if you're going to lose them in a month? Instead of deleting all free accounts, why not just delete the inactive ones?
Sure, a person could get a gold account, but that raises another problem. Money. $20 dollars per 3 months is a pretty ok deal, but it sounds more pricey because for online games, one gets used to seeing monthly fees. At first glance, 20 bucks looks a bit steep. Point being, why not just give a monthly price? Or, better yet, add more content to an already sweet game (so you feel better about paying that much)?

Yeah. You missed the $5 a month angle didn;t you? And erasing the accounts is done for several reason. A major one is, why go gold if you have a grey account that never goes away?

I know that this is a rule, but i think(and a enormous numbers of grey acc. too) that this is not a good idea, only noobs will play TAO becuse the others already knows that theirs grey accs. will gonna be erased.
PS: This is my opinion, i don't know if i'm wrong or right, but i think that that it's not a good idea.............:D heheh, bye-bye

okay, only newbs will QUIT because of the erasure of their accounts, many many ppl stay on and play as grey just because they love the game but dont want to go gold (for various reasons) many of the ppl in this forum who have been around the longest have never actually been gold, and have had their accoutns erased at least 4 or more times


so, yes, ur opinion is wrong, and the deletion of grey accounts will not stop for some time, if it EVER stops

DR himself said that THIS WILL NEVER CHANGE. It is a necessary part of the game. Look at Legends, and the lag it has due to all the accounts. Would you prefer that way of doing things? If so, go there. And don't let the door hit your backside on the way out.

Actully, its a good idea. Hell Legends server has the best idea, only non active accounts get delted, and you get a permentent 1 time paymnet for gold, we have TONs of golds with that ideal.

Many accounts = bad lag. I'd prefer no lag and less greys (who don't pay anyway, so why should they get rights) to a massive lag problem and more grey accounts.

Anyway, that's the least of the site's problems at the moment.

I don't pay for a gold acc. because the dollar it's too expensive in my country,when u pay 10 i pay 30 and i don't wanna pay that much, but now i see that u don't need me here and that i don't do any difference here. The only thing that i have to do is play this game and when my account be erased stop playing this game and do other thing more interesting......Adios!!!!:) And good luck!!!!!;)

Let me assure you, those don't matter as much as you think... if you're good enough, you'll find your niche in a clan and find a good setup with no unit drops... then people will know you're good from your clan and you'll be good after the wipe

well this game is designed to attract customers. maybe you cant pay. but thats not DRs fault. if it makes you amd go to legends. nothing you ahve said hasnt been said before. there are 4 servers here. leghends has one that is much easier to work with.
