I would like to see rare drops on all the our Servers... I would like to earn a mud golem and/or a beast rider so that stone Golems and Frost golems along with Furgons would be more easily solved. I have used los to solve these problems but a bit of bad luck lets them kill and/or freeze my scout. A beast rider and/or Mud golem would help a lot with the large gap between Grey accounts and Gold Accounts. I would not complain about the gap between us except I can not control Gold accounts from jumping me. Also the units would not be just handed over to us Grey accounts, we would have to earn them though playing well and at the right time. I would like to see you guys add rare drops on all servers at the same time you release a new gold unit.

No!....Goto Legends. That is one of the things that makes us different from them.

If they drop muds and frosties, there is less incentive to go gold. If there is less incentive to go gold, they will make less money. If they make less money, they will not see this as a viable business and close it down.

Would that make you happy?

I have to disagree with you Bottle. It would work both ways. Drops are placed so that greys and golds can win additional units. For a grey account to keep those units, they must upgrade to gold. But what if they won even better units. Would you go gold after winning an extra Dark Magic Witch, or after winning an extra Frost Golem? Another good side to this would be higher rated greys. People like you Bottle, who have a very high rating, don't even get points off 750 greys. You probably get one point for beating a 1200 rated player, and thats about as high as most greys get. But if Frosties, Muddies, and Riders were added to the grey armies, they will more than likely go higher in rating, which is better for golds. It has its pros and cons.

i like keeping the rare drops to Rev. It makes it so that only gold players can get them, and that its another incentive to play in Rev.

Why would it result in higher rated greys? Because they would be able to beat golds more easily. If free accounts start getting even more bonuses, there will be almost no incentive at all to go gold; the greys will think *oh, I've won a mud golem, but I'll lose it in the next wipe... doesn't matter, I can always get another one.* As well as this, golds would start having 2 frosties on there home server; yet another reason not to go to rev.

I asked for the rare drops to be released with a new gold unit. That way both greys and golds get a new thing. Also it is not like only greys can get drops and greys lose their drops at the wipe or they pay which would support tao. I know if I got a few rare drops I would most defenitally go gold. Also a new gold unit would add to the incentives to go gold.

Well, of course it would. But unfortunately, Seed doesn't seem to realise that:(

you mean their .... and they want to go gold i have yet to see a grey who has a frost in legends that didnt go gold afterward because of the fright of losing the 1 month drop in legends by being kicked. it creates more incentive to go gold because although mud golems suck as a grey or single gold because of no stone, so more likely they wont even use it (i.e. legends) and since its a 1 month drop its 1 in 1500 drops so they get gold as fast as they can giving seed the bling bling.

Dude, I posted that at 6.40 am...:D

And the point is, the main reason people don't go gold is because they have no money or credit card. So you give them a frosty, and all you do is annoy a lot of golds who wish they hadn't gone gold since they could get the frosty anyway, and very few extra golds.

Added special units.
This will do more harm than good. The die hards who LIVE Tao will get the units, meaning the more experienced players will also have multiples of very useful peices. People would soon just simply refuse to play them.

people will just get discouraged thinking that only the TAO addicts would really ever get them and so, "why try".

Well wither way, there isn't going to be any any time soon. I mean, when was the last time anyone heard from Seed anyways???
The rare drops for greys would make them more powerful (which I am fine with)
And if they won them, they would be more willing to go gold to keep them.
But it would also make golds even more powerful.

As for the idea that more time = more power, that is already true. Someone who has played here a month is going to have more units than someone who was only here a week. You spend more time, you get more drops. That is only natural.

But, as I said, it won;t happen. You need a programmer to make those changes. ANyone seen a programmer here?
