All very well, but that would make the chanty and frosty completely unusable. We're thinking about gameplay here, not how realistic it is.

Yeah the frosty and chanty would be to ineffective.

I think that if the cleric were paralyzed and along with for an example a knight were paralyzed, the cleric should at least be able to get it un paralyzed but not he units around the cleric that are paralzyed.

ie., make clerics immune to paralysis? Why should they be? In any case, who paralyses a cleric?

I do! When I freeze my opponent's remaining 9 units in one fell swoop ^_^

Suggesting a cleric have a second ability to unparalyze others is interesting. I think it would change the use of chanty and frosty. Limited range to do this would mean a cleric would have to leave protection, and venture forth.
But making it so he can unparalyze himself is not likely. Think in terms of D&D (nerd talk coming) How could you cast a spell if you can not move or speak???? Even a dispell paralyzation is a spell. So how could you do it?

Silent Spell and Still Spell ;)
anyway, i like the idea of the cleric having a second attack (much like the muddy) to un-paralyze at range (maybe hold down the mouse on the unit u wish to un-paralyze and wait until all the squares turn normal like with the muddy?)

Well, the muddy's secondary attack was introduced because a) he was too weak and b) not enough people were using him. Do you think either of these apply to the cleric? No? Then why improve him even more, at the cost of 2 other units which would then become less used?

I should change my title to *The second one to make sense*

well it would really depend on how far the cleric could reach to un-paralyze a unit that would determine whether the frosty/chanty would become less used, i could see this becoming the case, at most i say let the cleric do it at 3 spaces (less than a frosty, more than a chanty) and with that small of a range the only time the clerics ability would come into play is in the last part of the game (usually) since this is practically the only time a paralyzing unit is ever used offensively
also, the clerics recovery time is more than that of both the frosty and the chanty... i dont think this would damage them all that much, and it would change just a few small things around, without having to add an extra unit :)

I still just think that the game doesn't need that. I'd personally much rather have Seed spend any time on making a new unit, than change an already powerful unit into an even more powerful one.

EVERYONE, the game is fine the way it is

i dont think the cleric is a very powerful unit, though. all it can do if heal. so atleast seed can change the clerics powers alil more to healing paralyzed people as well.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, good joke...
What? You weren't joking?
Try playing without a cleric against any reasonable player. No? You won't? But then, why don't you replace it with a more *powerful* unit?

Kinda got you covered. If GMs accept any of my ideas, one of them might be my 5-skill system, one of which being esuna for clerics, cleaning a player of all status defects
