How about if we can let unit drops sometimes be item drops? Like a knight can be given a stronger sword to equip in the settings and pyros have different spells to choose from, and clerics have different power healing spells. Tell me what you think, so we can move on towards Final Fantasy style RPG

If you want a FF style rpg, go play a ff style rpg. This is not one.

agreed, TAO is a very straightforward strategy game and I like it that way.
Lets not make it into something its not already.
