It gets annoying then when your almost about to win your opponent will drop or what just happened to me recently i get them message that then winner of the match i was in will recive a pyromancer and my channenger dropped so in multipul ways you get screwed when someone drops you don't get the victory and you don't get the units so if your opponet doesn't like you cause your winning what a better way then to drop out not give them the vic. or the unit so to me thats pretty messed up and should be fixed cause i just started playing i've played about 7 matches now lost none but only got 1 vic. :( and didn't earn a unit i was suppost to have cause my opponent left before i could finish the match.

Actually, if your opponent leaves battle in any way, you win, including points and any drops that occured.
I have no idea where you heard otherwise, but trust me, that it how it works. Now, if your holding pen is full, you need to throw something else away to receive the drop.

I know what you mean, Br0ken 0ne. I once lost a DMW drop because my opponent left 1 second before the drop. Although my situation isn't quite the same.

i found out the points thing still works but i didn't recive the drop :( i have no other units then the ones that i started with...
