new servers

look guys who make this wonderfull free game. I want to be a gold member, really i do, but theres one problem that holds me back: the servers.

i know that gold members dont get kicked off the servers after a game, but that doesnt help me when i cant get on in the first place. I find it almost impossible to get on sometimes. Especially between 3 and 7.
I know it costs money to get more servers, but i think you would attract more gold members if you made the game better accessable. consider adding more servers, or maybe just expanding the ones you got.

Been talked about new server will be added once more GOlds sign up. Right now only 4 hours out of the day are hard to play on otherwise the servers hold up pretty well.

All you gotta do is just hit enter very fast if you can't sign in...keep hitting login until a game ends and you can enter.

I have to agree, I want to be a gold member but if you can't even sign on to sign up, then folks we have a probelm. This game seems to be taking off and I would like to be a part of it. But if I can't even get on - then ...
Second note: is this game blocked by firewalls? I know we have some major ones here at the Air Force Academy, therefore I pose the question.

Not only is a pain in the can to get on, but would it be possible to give some sort of "logon weighting" to paying members so that they get on before those who are skeezing the game for free?

I must admit, I signed on for Gold and got to play with my new units last night. Loved it :D, but I keep getting the shaft now as I try to log on. Not only that, but since my gold account is only on one server, I can't even play my new toys on another server. :(

stylixg the only one getting the shaft if everyone reading your posts. If you would take as little as 1 minute of your day and go read throug the site you'd know what a Gold Account gives you.

There is only so many posts and big font and bold texting we can do folks... it's time you read a little. This post has been answered before also.

Actually bills (great game)

I just looked at the page that all the GOLD ACCOUNT links go to and, although it has a lot of info there, it never spells out that you are only going to be on one server for the rest of your existence.

Not that im complaining.

But you could put this info in the disclaimer paragraph, for instance.

Warning: make sure to create an account before going GOLD. Also, realize that the SERVER you choose for this account will be your home.

Something like that.

Or maybe I missed some big announcement to this effect on some other page.
That could definitely happen. Reading webpages is tricky.

How about everytime you log in it says accounts on one server will only work on that server...

Its not on the Home page, the Play Online page, or the Gold Membership page.

I'm just saying you should remind dolts like me who are less than eager to read all the fine print (its all caps but still fine print, and it sounds like it might just apply to free accounts, who really knows???)

Yeah. Sorry that I apparently stepped on your toes with my red type. Not intended. I am thoroughly pleased with the game and am more than willing to deal with the growing pains of such a great endeavor. I was merely expressing my frustration...

And by the way I did know those things, but it never hurts to post. Lets developers know where the community thinks the real issues are and where the community thinks the priority is.

And, Eldar, I agree. As more people pay to play (which they will once they see the joy of more/better units) we'll see more servers and more availability on those servers.
