New Concept
HP: 30
Power: 0/20 in Focus
Armor: 15
Recovery: 1 for moving/2 in Focus
Range: 7, LOS
Blocking: 40%/20%
Movement: 4 squares
Effect: The Precision Archer moves into position. When you attack, he goes into Focus. The next turn he can attack. He cannot move while in Focus, or even step aside for another unit. He can only attack in Focus, which is why I gave him such long range. Think of him as a sort of artillary unit, like the Siege Tank in Starcraft. Same rules apply for him as other Focus units. If he is damaged, he loses Focus and must re-Focus before he can attack again.
Elf in grey cloak w/ team colors, carrying heavy longbow. In Focus he kneels down to brace his bow.

He who is an idiot can't think up units!!! That unit idea sounds like a poorly drawn scout!!

If he attacks while in Focus, he breaks Focus, right? Meaning it takes him five turns per shot (One turn to Focus, two to rest, one to shoot, one to rest)? Probably could be given a power boost...
Maybe halve its opponent's chance of blocking? So if it shoots a Knight head-on, it has a 60% chance to hit, if it shoots a Knight from the side it has an 80% chance to hit?

Right. So you Focus for one turn, rest for two (while focusing), then attack for one turn, and rest for one turn (not focusing), and are ready to begin the cycle anew, giving you, in essence, a wait time of four.
Or am I missing something?

Okay.
1. The Precision Archer Focuses, and thats his move for the turn.
2. Next turn he can attack.
3. After attack he waits 2 turn, still in Focus, if Focus is unbroken
4. He attacks again, still in Focus after his recovery
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until Focus is broken.
Get it yet?

So he doesn't break Focus by attacking? It should say that in the description--you say "Same rules apply for him as other Focus units.". Other Focus units break Focus by attacking.

I meant that being damaged breaks Focus

1. Go Into Focus
2. Attack
3. Wait 1 Turn
4. Normal Again
OR
1. Move & Go Into Focus
2. Attack
3. Wait 1 Turn
4. Wait 1 Turn
5. Normal Again
Where is the 4 turn wait time?
Ya there is 4/5 steps but your not *waiting* four turns.
