No server found

Lately when I click the "Play Tactics Arena Online" link on the play online page, I often get a "no server found message. Does this happen to anyone else? Can I do anything about it? I never used to have this problem.

(I realize this should thread should probably go outside of GD, but I might get lost if I wander into another area -- I'm skeered)

Also, I PM'd Snarr about this a few days ago, but he snubbed me (bastard).

Try deleting you history and cookies then restart your computer.

cookies? i dont think thats the problem but could be. i think its a very small chance.

Actually, cookies are a 90% favorite to stop you from getting into the game. And mods can not ban you from the game, only DR can. Clay, get your facts straight before helping others.

Clear cookies, temp internet files, and offline content, then reboot. You also might want to load a new flash program. Also, if you have a firewall, you might have to mae sure tacticsarena.com is set to Allowed.

Thanks for your help. However, I deleted my TAO cookies, my TAO history, and the temporary internet files related to TAO and I _still_ can't log onto the game with either our main computer or my wife's laptop (with wireless link). I also downloaded the newest version of flash. Nothing seems to work. Maybe I will be leaving the game permanently as well? :(

Any other ideas?

Thrd, I respect you, but I have been this name on these forums ever since I regestired(obviously) and I've been truffleshfl way before that(aim,yahoo, ect.) And I will not change my name. How do we get mixed up? We have kinda similar names but we do not have the same avatar and sigs.

I have a suggestion. You can make custom BBCode for these boards. We need a tag that makes the text look a bit different, so people know sarcasm is being used.

Are you using firefox ? Every time I play tacticsarena I have to use internet explorer.

You probably just have to download the flash or whatever the heck it is to play it in firefox. I use firefox and it works perfectly fine to play TAO.

Yes. click on the link to go download latest flash, and make sure you get the Firefox version. Then TAO works fine.
