I'm afraid I don't exactly understand what this is.
You win a random unit? What is it a reward for? A win? Just playing?
I donno, just explain it a bit more, please.

During a game you'll get a message saying the winner of this game will get [unit]. And then it is added to your account:)

It is not a top teir unit however...

I would really dislike to play against others with more/better units

the thing I liek about the game now si yo have equal chance..

you acn pick out of the same bunch of troops etc. equal like with chess.. only very different :P

this is true, but you can win with the original pieces over new models (personal experience)

Anyways, there are 5 drops per day now. The schedule is randomised, so nobody knows when the next drop will be.

You do realise that this thread was made when TAO first came out, and these players (besides Bills, of course) are probably gone...

Other than that, I don't think mud golems and stone golems were part of being a gold back then.
