Pyro Pyrates are coming back to power in all three servers!
Led by xyxaxyz2 in Great Lakes and Snork in Armageddeon, Pyro Pyrates are restoring themselves and their cause to greatness. We're growing fast and need to grow faster!
Our guiding principle is inclusiveness (also known as anti-elitism)- all people deserve a clan, and how good you are at the game of TAO is irrelevent. Provided you practice basic civility, (e.g., no spamming, no cheating, don't use all caps unless absolutely neccesary) and aren't a member of another clan, it is highly probable that you will be let into Pyro Pyrates.
Does that make us a n00b clan without skill? No. Many of our past and present members have been extremely skilled in the game of TAO. We have all ranges of skill included in our clan; in fact, many of our members improve significantly while inside Pyro Pyrates clan.
So why should you join the Pyro Pyrates?
Because we're the Greatest Clan of all Time.
Why shouldn't you join Pyro Pyrates?
If the only people you like to talk to are those who have as much skill in the game as you do.
If the only way you can feel good about yourself is by getting into an "elite" clan in an online game like this one.
If you like attacking (flaming, jumping, etc.) people lower than you because you're too scared of fighting someone of your ability.
How to join Pyro Pyrates?
Step 1: Apply.
You can apply by email (through my forum profile), or by pm to either me (if you want to join on Great Lakes) or Snork (if you want to join on Armageddeon). You can also apply by asking us in the game.
Step 2: Depending on server, you might have to go through a small testing procedure so we get to know you, to screen out spies (unregistered spies. We allow 2 spies per clan if they tell us the name of the clan they're spying for), spammers, members of other clans, etc.
And thats it! No complicated voting procedure to make us feel like we have power over other people, no rating test to reward cheaters and people who spend so much time on the game that they destroy their real lives.
