This unit is an evolutionary mistake. It has a stomach which is extremely roomy, yet has no digestive juices or enzymes. It gets its energy via photosynthesis. Its, supposedly, obsolete stomach has been discovered to have a useful purpose.

Appearance: I was thinking along the lines of something similar to the Stone Toads form Metroid Prime.

Statistics:

HP: 75
Armour: 0%
Block: 5% (2% from sides)
Move: 6
Power: n/a
Range: 2 spaces
Recovery: 0

Special: Ability to transport units. To load a unit into the Devourer you attack the unit. The Devourer will eat the unit, but it will be safe from harm. To unload, attack an empty space when a unit is loaded. You cannot load enemy units, multiple units or contraptions.

If the Devourer is destroyed, if it is carrying a unit it will also die.

this is a waste of time.
why have 5% blocking? 0% is just as good.
this unit isn't an evoloutional mistake, you are.

To sum it all up, THIS UNIT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

There is a point to this unit: it can rescue an almost dead unit and take it to safety, among other things.

And 5% is not just as good as 0%.

5% = 1 in 20.

0% = 1 in infinity.

What is its power?

Power: n/a

It doesn't do damage, it's a transport unit.

I think this unit would be a waste of a piece on the board for everyone. No need to create it hten.

Have some manners jackass.

I don't recall anybody asking what you think.

People, if you're going to respond, have some decency.
Don't waste our time with your stupid inults.
Nobody's gonna like you more if you come in and harrass his efforts.

Oh yeah, this unit sucks! :p
It's an interesting concept, but I don't know if I'd use it.
I also don't use Furgons though, and they're still in use.

I'm on the same pase as snork. Good job man you put therin1 where he belongs. The entire fight in the counter to dragons was for the same reason. People try to be understood before they understand. And the last sentence of my post is a result of xerent pissing me off by saying things that I've already proven wrong. As for the unit....it's alright. I find other unit ideas better, but this could come in handy when you're tactically inclined. (means if you have a brain you would use this unit) and that explains why therin1 didn't like it.

People know that therin1 is an ass....and they also know that this sentence continues to piss xerent off.

Interesting. I think that, with the current game mechanics, it wouldn't because it isn't actually on the field. It would be stored as a few variables (unit type, hp, etc.).

However, the cleric could be modified to add 12 to the Stored Unit HP variable. It shouldn't be too much effort.
