OK heres my latest invention:
The Slayer
Appearance : Tall human with shining silver + orange armor (flame like) with a large 2 handed sword in his hands
HP : 40
Armor : 25/50
Blocking : 40/20 (parries blows with sword)
Power : 15/30
Recovery: 0 move,1 attack, 2 both
Movement : 3
Attack range : same as knight
Specials : Only 1 per army, golds only
EDIT : OK, since theres obviously confusion on this part, the units he affects are as follows:
units he deals double dmg to: pyro, dragonspeaker, witch, tyrant
units he has extra armor against are: pyro, dragonspeaker and tyrant
hope that cleared it up
The point of this unit is as a semi-replacement for a knight. He excels again certain units, meaning placing him tactically for maximum exposure to these units is crucial for him to be effective. Much worse blocking than a knight, lower life and the same armor. however, when against beast units such as dragon tyrants he can become far more effective than a knight. His armor is specially imbued to make it extra resistant vs magic, hence the 50% armor vs unblockable (magic) attacks

Contradiction is a second statement not thought through.
This unit makes me think of the unit in FINALLY A COUNTER TO DRAGONS thread, but geared towards all beasts, instead of all fire type units. Every gold got mad, because they thought I hated dragons when I posted it. This won't be popular because it lowers the advantage that the golds get (they claim that they don't pay for the advantage, but for "the extra challange.") Which makes them contradict themselves because they bitch and moan about it "just annoying" them, but when I hear them say that, I actually hear "Makes it more challenging" for them. Knowing this and that they don't think very much, they aren't going to like the idea, and since golds are the ones paying for the game, it'll be their votes that count.
Golds still think that I hate dragons.

dont you think thats kind of a lot of armour for a unit and 30 power its like a lightning ward that walks mostly

its only like a moving LW against beasts, against other units its like a weaker knight, which is how i imagined it.
it doesnt reduce golds advantage as it would be a gold-only unit, if greys cant have it then golds have no real disadvantage.
every1 loves their own units i know, but i think this unit could add a lot of strategy to the game, since dragon tyrants can often destroy entire armies by themselves if they get healed/barriered/stoneskinned

This is a good base idea, but it needs a few tweaks. On the part where you listed the armor, you have 25/50, but on the part where you told about it, you said 30. And if it affects the DSM, why doesn't it effect the pyromancer, or any other mages at that? The armor is the same as the knight's, so maybe you should make the normal armor and normal power both 15. And the movement recovery time needs to be 1, since the recovery is two. I'm still not sure about the attack though, since it would be like a walking lightning ward on beasts. And wouldn't it be really unfair against mage bombs? The overall idea is good, but it just gets too strong when it fights beasts and mages. But other than all of that stuff, good job. :D

well i edited the post to clear things up, in response to what golden said:
the recovery should be 2 if he moves and attacks, since as you say, hes like a walking LW vs some units. i considered having it at 1 (same as knight) but doing 30 dmg every 2 turns? thats kinda overpowered.
his armor is (now) the same as a knight coz he would simply die too quickly if he didnt have the same armor as knights, since he has less life and longer recovery.

What about Pyromancers, they're flammable mages too, just like Dragonspeaker Mage. And you said it's only against the beasts, not the other units. And DM is only a human unit. Then it would take one hit to kill it. Then what if its available to all accounts?

@tenic : to clear one point up, i specified he would only be available to golds, since with him greys could easily beat a lot of gods. YES he would kill a witch in one hit, same as a LW, i am aware of that. he would also kill a pyro or dragonspeaker in one hit. this may seem overpowered but bear in mind he does around 12 dmg to a knight, and has 2 recovery if he attacks + moves, which would be enough time to kill him
