ill be posting my dragon slayings
i consider ties where the dragon has been killed and wins to be dragon slayings

dragon slaying 1: vs aro23r (ranked 34)
end result: tie me with 2 knights and lightinging ward, him with a knight and cleric and light, but dragon dead

dragon slaying 2: vs slymrfox
end result: win with 2 knights lightning ward, barrier ward, cleric

he didnt even have a gold account
he was really hard and i lost misurably

dragon slaying 3: vs half-mad (ranked 38)
end result: win, me with enchantress, knight, both wards, cleric him with his dragon enchanted

i didnt really "slay" his dragon i guess...

still no losses to dragons

I play with a dragon, and while they are really cool, they are not the be-all end-all unit I keep hearing them made out to be. I have lost to non-gold members while using my dragon; Their long recovery time means that lack of support will leave them out in the open getting pounded, and the 40% block rate will have them taking a lot of hits. When you toss in the fact that they take up two unit slots on the board, you realize that they are balanced units. Two knights vs. a Dragon is not something I'd really like to put my dragon through, it tends not to survive.

this game was particularly funny, i ended up enchanting 2 knights, a dark mage, 2 scouts, and his dragon

Link_X, I wasn't that scary was I? Dragons are not hard to beat, they're slow and they take up the place of two units. I'd rather fight a Dragon any day than to fight a witch and a enchantress, or a knight and a scout, etc.

Is your Cleric having Dragon troubles? Barrier ward is your friend!

Killing a dragon isn't such a big deal, they're a unit like any other. I've sacrificed mine for the cause many a time. But in some 60ish games since i've had him I've yet to lose to someone without a dragon. Keep an eye out for me, I'll have to break you no loss to dragon record :D

Agreed. Dragons are great if they can be kept from being outnumbered or hit often o0 otherwise, they suck.

Dragons are like a second Lightning Ward with more HP and faster recovery time! :D

If you just attack w/ them without moving, you can send a fireball at the enemy every 3 turns... as opposed to every 5 with the Ward.

yoyoyo, actually, it's better than that in a way, b/c it's TWO turn recovery for the dragon if you do not move and 4 turn for the LW no matter what. on the other hand, though, the dragon doesn't attack over obstacles--added to it's limited cross-shaped attack range, it isn't exactly a better LW. in fact, i wouldn't even compare it to the LW except for it's high attack power that is 2 points shy of the LW's abilities. ------if you forget everything i just said, just realize it's a totally different unit and that's all.

Dragons are not hard to to beat, they're slow and they take up the place of two units. I'd rather fight a dragon any day than to fight a witch and a enchantress, or a knight and a scout, etc.

Okay. First of all, you'd rather face a dragon other than an enchantress, which can't block, and a witch, which hardy ever blocks. I can see a scout and a knight, who are some of the best units, but a witch and an enchantress can die in two hits each.

And second of all, and this is for everybody. No one can say dragons stink. They kick ass but only if you use them right. For example, I save my dragon for last. I try to kill the other guy's cleric, and then I use my dragon to kill the rest of his guys. I admit that a dragon is a sitting duck, but not if you have guys as body guards. The only unit that is a big threat to dragons are archers, in my opinion, and I haven't lost my dragon, EVER.

I've had good luck with my dragon when I keep it back with the Cleric most of the time. He needs a lot of support but it good for discouraging sneak attacks on the cleric.

yea, a lot of times my dragon doesnt actually move for a while because people will keep far from it.

however, there is always that option to move and have a little fun

A, shall we say, 'afilliated account' of mine has recently brought a goldie by the name of Zephorth low, through a bit of luck and a lot of stupidity on his part. His dragon was the second unit he lost.

Once his cleric was in danger from a knight, he proceeded to make a run for it.

It would have been close anyway, but 2 knights, cleric, and tower vs. 3 knights and tower... In my experience, 2 knights+cleric wins. (Strategic retreat, baby.)

Oh well.

LOL. Of course not. Being gold means that you're committed enough to the game that you fork over $5. Period. It doesn't been your skilled or not, nor does it mean you're a mature person instead of whiny.

ive slain 4 dragons so far, all on my grey account, with the end result having won every game. dragons are not hard to kill, and i dont think they are that great of a unit to use. its personaly preference but unless you r good with a drag its a waste to try to use one. they arent just powerhouses.

You can't say you've slain a dragon but fail to mention you lost the game. Often, I will send my dragon on a kamakazi run and take out an enemy unit but then sacrifice my dragon. Thats not really a slain dragon for the opponent.

i do the same..if i can knock out a cleric for u wasting 4 turns to kill my dragon id love that..cuz while u pounding on dragon, the rest of my guys hitting other guys..ur down to my dragon dead with me with 8 other guys and u with 2..so i find it worth it definitely =)..
