I just entered Army, and typed in, "Battle me, floor 7." I waited a few seconds, and then saw a Dragon Tyrant appear next to my Knight avatar. I was grey jumped by GammaC4.
My original intention was to run (after all, last time I played a gold, I was annihilated) But then I saw his setup.
Dragon Tyrant, a couple Pyros (I think three), Beast Rider, Lightning Ward Furgon, Mud Goldem, and Cleric.
No Stone Golem cluster. No Dragonspeaker Mage (with that many pyros). So I decided to play out the match.
I asked him why he had jumped me, and he said the he needed to get points by playing suckers. I said that he should fight golds, but he responded saying that it is easier to fight suckers. So we began.
He started by attacking me with his pyros, which got eliminated by my Lightning Ward, Knight, and Assassin. Then, he sent his Beast Rider into my Knights and Scout, and attempted a front hit to my Scout and Knight at the same time, but both blocked, at which point I killed it with Knights.
He then sent in his Dragon Tyrant, sending my Assassin into critical health. So, I moved my Scout, and paralyzed it with my Chanty.
Then, he tried to break the focus of my Chanty with his Mud Golem. I saw his plan, and started hitting it with Knights and my Scout. Then, he got really close to my chanty, at which point I blasted his Muddy of the field via LW.
He had a paralyzed Dragon Tyrant, a Cleric, and a Furgon. So, he begins creating a bunch of shurbs to the left, not noticing I still had a Knight to the right. I moved over, and he created more shrubs, locking himself in. I approached closer and closer, until he left.
Moral: If you are grey and get grey jumped, the gold is most likely a bad player. So kill them.;)
