Gunslinger
Male Fighter

Statistics

Hit points: 36
Power: 22
Armor: 8%
Movement Range: 3
Recovery Time: 2

Attack Pattern:

Fires a bullet at a target within a 5 square radius. LOS does not apply.

Special Abilites:

+10% Blocking from the front (5% Blocking from the sides)

Tactics

The Gunslinger is a great unit to powerplay your opponent in a crucial moment. Since he can hit a unit within his range regardless, he is the perfect finisher.

NOTE: Just because he can hit a unit within his range regardless, does not mean it cannot be blocked. Oh, and I formatted this as the current unit descriptions appear. Hope this is fine.

Thanks,
Al

This makes no sense to me. It's easier to arc an arrow over someone to hit a person behind them then it is to arc a bullet. He should have LOS restrictions like the scout.

Other than that it's okay, but with the LOS restrictions there's not really any purpose to use this over a scout.

Possible Changes:

1. Up power to 22
2. Up Armor to 8.
3. Up Block to 30%

All in all, nice job al.

Take his recovery time down a little bit. Otherwise this seems like a souped up pyromancer.

First of all, the "arking a bullet" was not the general idea. He is a sharpshooter, plain and simple. He can find any nook to fire through. Herm... I'll think about the LOS thing.

Souped up Pyro? It isn't an unblockable attack, but I do see the similarities. Will fix those.

Thanks for the suggestions,
Al

I agree, a gunslinger sounds wkd but it just will not blend in with the game unless he/she has a really old form of gun. :(

He could fit. Just like the dwarf riflemen fit into Warcraft. :)

They had hand-cannons in Feudal Japan. So it could fit.

Hand-cannons. . .

I want one.

It was a long, hollowed out wooden rod. They would have a small musket-ball in it, an behind it was packed in gun-powder. They would light a fuse, point, and KABLOOEY!!!

That's good enough, if they had guns as far back as the reign of Oda Nobunaga (He was the first Shogun to disband his Samurai and implement infantry) then it would fit just fine with this game.
