Wow. These nominations are really taking off!
So far we have Ach, Al, theburning (I'll inclue all of her, not just the legs) and fourth spot will prolly be xyxaxyz2.
Trauger is disqualified as a candidate just because.

So we have 4 candidates. The next questions is how do we pair them up into president and vice president positions??? We need to get it into 2 parties with 2 candidates each. Here are your choices.

A3 just seemed like it had so many votes since a bunch of newbies (or new accounts of cheating lying elders) thought it would be cute to vote A3 on the thread. The leader is still C2, followed closely by A3. If Teester joins over, the lead increases, with Teester tipping it to C2: 11 and A3: 8. If Teester cannot vote, than it's still OK for us C2ers, since it decreases A3s count to 8. Everybody still eligible please vote for C2, the best two guys for the job. Their counting on you to put them on a good lead.

But I'm not going to do that. I have respect towards myself and TAO as a whole. So, even if I am NOT elected this term, you can expect me to come back as if I was bringing the Apocalypse behind me.

You can expect an overhaul of presidential authority.

She has consistently shown a dedication to this game that goes far beyond the average occasional forum poster and minor clan leader. She is the main manager of the TAO league and has run multiple tournamants by herself. She regularly fixes clan problems and, most importantly, spends hours on the actual game. And this has not gone unnoticed.

There is no need for bitterness.

Also, why should post count have to do with anything? It neither measures experience with the community nor ability to comprehend which candidates will be better for the job.

Maybe if you watched many people vote happily for you, and then see one person vote for an opposing canidate, and then all of the sudden, the masses flock and vote for your opposing canidate. It makes you blink a little and say to yourself, "What have I done wrong?"

You haven't done anything wrong; its just that Julia has done a lot more right. What specific way have you improved TAO in that "longer" time you've been here? Which, as many know, was broken up by a long break, hardly evidence of a dedicated person. Julia has been here a lot longer than you in terms of hours, even if not in terms of starting date.

What I said on post count was not referring to you, but to all those who would deny someone their voting rights by such an arbitrary measure.

Ouch. The ONLY reason I was absent is because I did not have internet access! If it was possibility, I would have been on EVERY DAY. You must realize, that if I was given the opportunity, I would be on many more hours than I currently can be.

So the situation regarding length of time here cannot be argued upon. IF I could reside here longer, I could. Maybe theburning has more free time. . . I just do not know.

There is a reason she is a moderator and you are not. She proved herself capable with the TAO league and by gaining wide support before she ever was a moderator.

Free time is an important factor. You can't be president and have another job that takes away most of your time. Thats simply true from a practical perspective. You say you've been here longer, and therefore deserve to be president. Perhaps, to use your argument, if Julia could have she would have started in November.

I never said you weren't a dedicated member. But Julia's dedication is unsurpassed, and next to her, you are incomparable.
