Well, I, also, shall be leaving soon. But i will only be gone for about a week or so. I leave saturday morning to lacrosse camp in sonoma, and then when i get back i go to another camp for a lil while, so i might be on a tiny bit inbetween them.

Lacrosse is for girls! Real men play hockey! Alas I won't be playing hockey when I'm gone, for two weeks starting this Sunday, to visit my aunts and uncles in Pennsylvania. I'll miss you guys...

Keep your own leaving in your own threads! this is mine!
anyways hockey sucks and lacrosse is way better, you hit people with metal sticks and it is just so much more manlier. Hockey is for pansies and will stay as such. Until i play hockey which will be never. And on ice? That is just stupid. You need to learn to play a real mans sport.

Assuming what you said is true, that makes sense that hockey is about 4500% more popular than lacrosse.(!) Also, hockey takes more skill at an amature level than lacrosse does at the pros. (Note: I didn't even know lacrosse had profesional leagues till this year, needless to say they aren't as popular as the over Century old NHL) Also, lacrosse contains a lot of senseless violence (what you ignorantly call manliness) as does hockey. However I stand firm in the fact that the NHL contains far better athletes (meaning in better physical condition and possesing more finely honed skills) than any lacrosse league.

EDIT: "Real man's sport" and "basketball" used in the same sentence without the much nescesary word "not" and "a"? You are crazier than t3k.

Also, see you guys in two weeks!

I hate to say it but tomorrow morning I'll be leaving too... I won't be back until tomorrow night. It seems something has come up. I'm not quite sure what it is but most are calling it work. Something about a job that is suppose to give me this check thing at the end of every two weeks. I'm not sure how I can handle it but to be honest I think I've had this job thing for quite a while now. I just don't know what to say. I'm sorry guys.

Well, I'm leaving for lacrosse camp too, on Sunday. I won't be back until Thursday. I'm so happy, I just got my long-stick :) By the way Serge, my friend plays both hockey and lacrosse, and says that they're almost the exact same except one is on ice and one is on grass.

EDIT- Also, I'd play hockey, but I can't skate for two shits.

Look at these kids.... Bickering... When neither of them have even seen a game of murderball. Yes they call it murderball for a reason people.

But out of the two Hockey is more hardcore. I mean you can hit someone hard by running at them but skating at them is that much faster and harder... And with walls and such and such.

Thus leaves 'Answer man'

*reaches for soup sandwich*

P.S. See ya both soon.

I used to play football, but I dont have a good league to play in now. And how is hockey hitting harder? You are on slippery ice. With grass and cleats you have a good footing to kill someone. I have seen kids literally do flips after getting hit, and my friend broke a kids arm knocking him down. And where i live amateur lacrosse is more popular than amatuer hockey and i live on the west coast and lacrosse is way more popular on the east coast.

Meh, I reckon I'd have more success convinving a brick wall to turn into a window. If you don't see how getting hurt by someone who is moving twice as fast as what you lacrosse players can dream off, is gonna be worse, than you aren't intelligent enough to argue on this topic. It's a fact you get hit harder in hockey, the puck moves faster than your lacrosse ball, the skaters move faster than your little girl legs carry you. Your mindless "Slashing" and "Hooking" (as they're called in hockey) don't make your sport tougher.

t3, it's time for a basic physics lesson.
Force = Mass * Velocity
This means that the faster something is going, the greater the force of impact. You can go much faster on ice than on grass, so you can have a much harder impact. Therefore you can hit MUCH harder in hockey than in lacrosse.

I've watched both; I feel asleep during the "pro lax" games that I watched (every one of 'em that I bothered to watch put me to sleep...it's like a sleep aid...). Hockey is so much more exciting to watch, and requires so much more skill to actually play than "lax" (as you call it), that it's practically comparing choclate to ex-lax...
