    Talking Enchanted Graveyard!

    Enchanted Graveyard

This unit came about by chance, a cleric who mourned the death of his beloved, sought to bring her back to life. The clerics did not have the necesary powers or knowledge to do so so he sought out a DMW who taught him the ways of the arcane and the abilities of restoration, the witch said that if he followed these rituals and blessed the tombstone his beloved would return to him. So one night he did attempt the ritual but to his horror a RE-ANIMATED SKELETON was there to greet him, not only that but given sufficient time another skeleton would arise, and yet another...AND ANOTHER!
Soon the graveyard was crawling with the undead, and an army of knights had to be sent in to destroy the Enchanted Grave This was the only way that they could stem the tide of evil skeletons from rising.
Now that same ritual can be performed on a tombstone and carried into battle, and once placed on the ground, the bones of the dead begin to awaken!

    HP:66
    POWER:(animates skeletons)
    ARMOR:20%
    BLOCKING: 0%
    MOVEMENT:immobile
    RECOVERY:3

    Skeleton stats
    HP:0
    POWER:15 (UNBLOCKABLE)
    ARMOR:0%
    BLOCKING:0%
    MOVEMENT:3
    RECOVERY:1

These little skeletons are deadly since they can hit unblockable on the diagonal

Do you guys like this concept?
I think it would be interesting in this regard.....

You see how this set could potentialy dominate? the grave can be hit by mele attacks but has great HP and ARMOR coupled with a stone golem this combo could fend off a knight even without the LW in the vicinity.

I think it is a balanced unit because it in reality takes 4 moves to attack with your second skeleton unit.....3 turn recovery after 1st skeleton...2nd skeleton revived..... skeleton waits....NOW 2nd skeleton can attack.
This contraption and it's skeletons do not do well against mudds. But since these lil skeletons can hit on diagonal for 15 unblockable with a 1 turn recovery they are a delicious option to use in battle. You could potentialy have 12 units ( only 3 skeletons allowed on field) in 8 turns ( 1st turn raise skeleton, wait 3, raise skeleton, wait 3 , raise skeleton)

Or perhaps when an friendly unit dies a litch lord Is released on the special! you must have no recovery and move must be done on next turn after your unit dies...or abiliy is lost.
He looks like a DSM but with a skull for a head...he floats so that means he is immune to mudquakes! he also has a glowing aura about him.
    stats as folows
    HP:0
POWER:18 one target 2 squares away los not aplicable.)
    ARMOR: 0%
    MOVEMENT:4
    RECOVERY:2
    BLOCKING: 0%

    PRO'S and CON'S

    PRO'S
    1. Spawns an endless supply of skeletons at your disposal (max 3 on field)
    2. You can send in skeletons to soften enemies formations.
3 The regular skeleton has a 15 unblockable attack (hits diagonaly also)
    4. After death of friendly unit the grave can summon a LITCH LORD.
    5. Skeletons can form temporary walls to block knight rushes.
    6. Grave is very durrable so it lasts long enought to spawn 2-3 skeletons MINIMUM.
7 AND MOST IMPORTANTLY... it looks cool.

    CON'S
    1. 3 turns to create a new skeleton, skeleton can only attack and move next turn. (so 4 turns to do 15 damage with this unit.)
    2. Skeletons do not block and crumble after any attack.
    3. 15 unblockable is weak but good for an expendible unit.
    4. Grave cannot be moved to another location.
5 MOST IMPORTANT.......you cannot win with a skeleton, or the grave, just like you can't win with a LW.

Kinda cool. But i should be used more like an enraged furgon. Only right after a unit dies to even it out a little. And there shouldnt be the dragon tryant special thing, and the dead shouldnt block either

So... the only thing that can kill them is mudquake? or 1 hit from anything... b/c it seems like a super powered furgon lol shrubs that can attack and not get destroyed by anything other than... mudquake.

Been thought of b4, this idea is either good or horrible, I like yours, it's a bit unoriginal but not too bad, keep it up. Can it produce skelies every 3 turns or 8? And can it only be palced in front of the grave?

It produces a skeleton once every 3 turns and it can place these sleletons to ether it's right, left, front or back.

And Any attack kills the skeletons even a poison wisp attack or an enchantress/frost attack.

Maybe to balance it out.... when a cleric heals the skeletons die? or when grave is hit , existing skeletons crumble and die no matter where they are in relation to the grave! bones are no longer enchanted and they crumble?

Not bad, i agree with quicksilver, although do you mean just a hit on the grave or the grave is destroyed.

Bigman Yes a hit on the grave would break the enchantment to the bones wherever they would be... it would kinda balance this unit out since you can make 3 extra units to use at your disposal.

So indeed no to cleric YES TO GRAVE ENCHANTMENT BREAK!

Seems a bit underpowered now... they should be able to move farther or something... to balance their... life span out. b/c you make one... and it stalls but its just a worse shrub stall b/c its only in 1 spot.

Or maybe lesson the turn wait.

Wow, you think it would "never" be effective! the very fact an opponent must "SPEND" a turn hitting a skeleton is a bonus in itself.
If recovery was 2 and you could create new skeleton on 3rd turn that might be more popular. (with enchantment break) that might be more viable as a unit!

the skeletons can hit on a diagonal so they could hide begind a knight wall and hit another unit to the diagonal of the knights. It is a low risk unit that FORCES the opponent to deal with oncoming hordes of skeletons your turt could produce some skellies with a shrub wall.....

As for saying it could never be effective GIVE YOUR REASONINGS
    CUATHON!

i THINK I WILL GET RIDD OF THE ENCHANTMENT BREAK...KEEP UNIT AS IS.

it's like saying.."it's the greatest unit ever created!".......... well?........why is it the greatest unit created? BACK YOUR SMACK UP!

The 12 damage skeletons won't do much more damage than can be healed. This would only be effective if you could get a continual barrage (12 damage every 3 turns) to a unit with less than 25 armor without getting any of the skeletons killed before they can hit - which is impossible while the opponent has ranged.

On the defensive, they will fall to taking out the ward. IMO, three skeletons isn't worth a unit, even though they are tougher to kill with the ward able to regenerate them. The only use of these is as backup to cut down shrub walls, in which case you would do better with a pyromancer.
