TALON SOLDIER


Yes everybodys favorite nemesis is back, and ready to reclaim his throne as the most loathed unit in TAO history......(loathed because you play him in tactics core .. and he is a beeeeaaach to kill with cleric backup!)

I adjusted this unit (not knowing if seed made this unit "organic"..aka a beast or simply a soldier wearing funky armor.) So i chose to make a funky beast wearing armor!.

HP:55
POWER:23
ARMOR:18%
BLOCKING:40%
RECOVERY:2
MOVEMENT:4
( does not step aside for friendly units)


This unit only joins your army due to selfish reasons, either he is trying to kill a bitter rival, or he is using your army to gain resources and power.Make no mistake the talon soldier was bred to fight to the death and claim superiority over all before him. Their slogan could be summed up like this " ALL MUST FALL"

I assume he attacks in the standard melee pattern (ie Knight or Mud Gollem's melee)? Does he have a special attack? He seems cool, a powerup of the knight, but other than his looks he doesnt do anything else. Maybe you should add a wide swing or something, hitting 3 squares in a line infront of him

yeaghi thought of that, but realy then it would be like a souped up BEASTRIDER ASSASIN COMBO.....shmeeaah maybe thats not a bad thing...


But coolness is definitly a factor here! 23 power with a max range of 5 is deadly.... knight does 22 with a max range of 4 .. it can be game changing, plus the fact this unit is far more durrable than a BR to begin with you might consider rushing in if it favors you

BR: 38 hp 15% armor. 19 power
TS: 55 hp 18% armor. 23 power

Thats 17 more HP than the BR not to mention the fact that the armor kinda boosts that number to a real 20 hp difference...

Its different in a subtle way... but maybe thats all thats needed.

The beastrider-assassin combo has pwned more noobs than I care to guess, and it doesn't even technically exist yet.

It's too much like a knight for my liking, I like Tactics core alot and I wish they would turn that into a multiplayer game, but too much of a knight and assasin for me.
