Unit: Square Tower
Contraption
Looks like: well, a square tower.
HP: 70
Armour: 15
Blocking%: 33% in all directions
Attacks: none
Readiness: does not ready
Movement: does not move
Counts as a half a unit.
The square towers appear as a pair. The two towers must be placed on the same line or row. When in place, a wall appears between the two towers. If the square tower is within two spaces of the edge of the battle area, the wall also continues to the edge of the battle area. If either tower is destroyed, walls stretching from it to the edge of the map or to the other tower disappear.
The wall divides the map into two areas. It has the following effects:
* a unit can enter a space with a wall in it, or leave such a space. However, this requires the entire movement allowance of the unit. In other words, if a unit wants to climb onto the wall, it must start its move from a space adjacent to a vacant section of the wall.
* no attacks that require a line of sight can affect units on the opposite side of the wall. (the wall blocks arrows).
* units on the wall gain +1 +10% to their blocking ability and +5 armour when attacked by units not on the wall.
