So Im playing kyx.

And its down to the wire.

And he blocks a side hit that would have lost him the game. (knight vs. knight, but with other units still around. no other attackers)

And we keep going, doing all this stuff, and... he gets a front hit on my knight. Ok, so im still decent.

And then he gets the side hit (that was otherwise unavoidable without losing for sure) on my knight and wins.

So... I suppose the moral of the story is that when I have the Will of God against me, I lose vs. kyx.

Ya, luck sucks. I played a guy who had close to the same turtle setup as me only on the other side. The beginning turned into a Scout battle and basically I got pissed and surrendered cause he hit my Scout twice from the front. The first time was like ok, sure. Then he hit me from the side with a Knight, but I figured I was safe since the only way he could hit me was from the front. Guess what? He did!

Technically, there's also no such thing as good or bad luck. It just happened to return a result that didn't work out to your favour. The universe cares not who gets a favoured result. It just does stuff.

im actually pretty good at chess on pogo im rated master but since i've been on TAO so much when i went back i lost all my stats
